Taking place after the events in the Movie, starting directly after the Gazelle concert, the building feelings they both have to each other come to a head and take an unexpected turn. While mostly a slice of life as Judy and Nick find out more about each other, and try to figure out their relationship, loose ends from the missing mammals case will eventually emerge.

Four years have passed since the Night Howlers ordeal. As such, much has occurred for Officers Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps; both who have grown used to coping with the habitual routine of upholding the law. But, things are far from perfect for these partners as they struggle with societies prejudices, all along with a secret that could tear both them and the 1st Precinct apart.

Knowledge was a key. It unlocked the mind, it freed the spirit. Almost no one knew about life outside the city-state, no one except for those in control. Nick had always lived a life of outcast and discrimination, but as society begins to crumble, he must do what he can to find the answers rarely asked for — and more importantly — to survive in a corrupted world turned against him.

Sequel to While I'm Away. It's been four months since Judy and Nick started dating, and now their first holiday season as a couple together on the horizon. However, Judy is worried about her parents meeting Nick, and Nick is hiding something. As the weeks go on, things are brought out into the open as the couple faces their darkest demons, this time however, they'll do it together.

Nick knows he's an innocent fox, but after coming to in a hospital, he's told he killed Judy in a Night Howler-induced frenzy. As he mourns the loss of his partner and sets out to clear his name, he discovers a bunny who looks and smells a little too much like Judy. She may be in the middle of her own investigation…. A tribute to Hitchcock and noir thrillers.
