I think... That writing / drawing / any other medium of art, is a means of expressing oneself and is wholly unique to each individual. Repression of artistic representation should not be allowed. That said, I am an advocate of Slash/Yaoi/Alternative- couplings when it comes to writing as well as cannonical hetero- couplings.

3 Dec 2011: I know I haven't been active on this site in a loooong while. Believe me. Honestly, most of it stems from the simple fact that most of the good authors I used to enjoy on here for my preferred genre, Yu Yu Hakusho, left the site as writing standards declined. And because (perhaps arrogantly, I don't know...) I consider myself to be a decent (if not altogether good) author, I left too, as my genre got overrun with Mary Sues and enough OCs to destroy the canon forever.

The other reason I left is simply because my inspiration for writing (not just fan fiction, but period) has waned as real life got busy. I'm in the Army. Currently, I'm mobilized and have been doing very important military things all year. Most days I'm just too tired to think about writing. Or when I sit down to try when the rare plot bunny comes my way, I realize a paragraph or two in that it's utter crap. I like to think I have a decent writer's voice and I hold myself to a certain standard of writing. I will scrap most anything that I feel isn't... passable, at least. But my current year with the Army is winding down and I'm hoping to re-light the fire under my Muse's arse. I can't promise that things will progress with any regularity. If you look below, you'll see my list of 'Coming Soon' stories, but those have been 'Coming Soon' for... well, a few years, by now. So please bear with me.

A few other notes: If you review me, I would appreciate more than a one-word review. Also, if you review me, I will try to either review you back (if you have a story written for one of my genres), or to message you a reply. I truly appreciate anyone who takes the time out of their day to leave me their feelings regarding my writing. It helps make me a better writer.

Enigma, Ch. III: Detained as a criminal in Reikai Prison, Kurama sits and ponders the absurdity of the situation and wonders about the false murder accusations flung at him. A few days into his imprisonment he gets a visit from Hiei who has received a suspicious letter from a demon that claims to know not only him, but Youko as well. What's more, the demon is requesting an audience with them. Hiei, curious to go, devises a plan.

The Love Album: A collection of Yu Yu Hakusho one-shots that glean inspiration from various Westlife songs and are a tribute to various couples.

Heart to Heart: Yuusuke and Keiko's love for each other is put to the ultimate test. Don't want to give away more than that, though. But, let's just say that misfortune breeds tragedy and from tragedy comes a chance at greatness that can only occur after undefinable loss and unimaginable gain.

Tentative PKMN Story: Because the hair crawled up my arse, and nostalgia needs to be acted upon sometimes. Blaine has a daughter who's been living with relatives in Cerulean City since he relocated to the Seafoam Islands after Cinnabar Island exploded. Finally, she's old enough to come back and find her dad to try to convince him to find people to rebuild the Island so they can return home. This sends her on a quest to find the Legendary Moltres to beg for help to gather the morale needed to start reconstruction. Friends and Adventure await!
