Hi. I'm Amanda, but you can call me Mandy if you'd like. When I'm not doing this I write for a newspaper (though I'm kind of done with that for now...) and attend school and obsess over Angels & Airwaves.

One of my loves in life is film. Maybe I love it a bit too much. I fall in love with any movie that really gets me. I'm just not a big fan of tragedy. Not that sad movies can't be incredible- actually most of my favorite films end tragically- just sometimes I wish they could end on a happier note.

So that's what I plan on doing with a lot of my fic. Giving the sad stories different endings (hence my name).

And I used to be super obsessed with Jake Gyllenhaal... it's dwindled a bit, but I'm sure you'll see a lot of that perhaps in my writing.

I wouldn't say I'm an amazing writer... but I have some skill, which is enough for my purposes as an author. My stories can be entertaining enough, I think. I have ideas. Lots and lots of ideas. You'd be better off looking for the plotlines and twists and turns in my stories rather than poetry and enlightenment... there's plenty of other beautiful fic for that.

I have a few stories in the works... I've ideas for stories for The Day After Tomorrow, Jarhead, and Proof... and a couple more Brokeback Mountain stories up my sleeves, maybe... Something special for you Jake Gyllenhaalics like me. (Live, Jake, live!)

I try to finish a story before I post anything, for purposes of editing and continuity. I hope you understand :P

People would say I'm very obsessed with a number of things including, but not limited to: Tom DeLonge (much more than Jakey, I'd like to say) , blink-182, Angels & Airwaves, Jake Gyllenhaal, any of Jake Gyllenhaal's movies, the Star Wars original trilogy, Back to the Future, Lost, House, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Office (and Jim Halpert), and... a lot of other stuff I will put here when I remember.
