In 1945, Reverend Awdry introduced the world to a story he'd created to help his sick son sleep. In 1984, Britt Alcroft adapted the stories into TV format for the world. Since then, millions of people have read the books, watched the show, and enjoyed the story. This version is a combination of Awdry and Alcroft's visions, with characters, stories and nostalgic magic from both.

Today, Frank the Diesel engine feels under appreciated at having been missed out of the Thin Clergyman's book and grumbles dreadfully about it, but feels more like a hero after coming to Rex's rescue in FRANK TO THE RESCUE! (based on We Need Another Engine by Christopher Awdry)

This is where my adaptations of the Railway Series will go, for the most part. TODAY: James' distaste for diesels begins to bubble when he is forced to help Derek and BoCo one chilly winter, but just might turn around and see how useful diesels are in "Deep Freeze!"
