Hello I am really enjoying hanging out in this fanfic space, but with husband, children, part time job, allotment and Sunday School Class to teach don't spend as much time here as I'd sometimes like. Please forgive me if I seem a bit slow compared to some of my esteemed and half my age colleagues!! My top fictional couples, probably in the order I met them Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe (Anne of Green Gables and series, L.M. Montgomery, still miffed my husband didn't like Gil as a name..) Beatrice and Benedict (Much Ado about Nothing - William Shakespeare) Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers (always a sucker for a man that can dance) Dempsey and Makepeace (Michael Brandon and Glynis Barber, rewatched it recently on ITV3, cheesy but the UST best ever, congratulations to them for their 20th wedding anniversary) Joel Fleischman and Maggie O'Connell. (Northern Exposure, crazy but fun) Emma Woodhouse and Mr. Knightley (Emma, Jane Austen, I was living in U.S.A. when the Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeremy Northam version came out "Kindly don't shoot my dogs." a wonderful reminder of home) Harmon Rabb and Sarah MacKenzie (JAG, not the best but I was in North America) Mulder and Scully (X files and my first taste of fanfic) Harry Cunningham and Nikki Alexander (Silent Witness, it's only a matter of time...)
