Alternative to the scene in 3x05. I always love this scene because I think it was one of the first times you see how much Alex means to Norma. I like how when he pulls her into his arms, she calms down immediately. This is a one-shot of what should have happened after their embrace. Hope you enjoy:)

Alex and Norma go on a short trip to the Caribbean where they will learn things about each other but mostly they'll have fun.

In 2020, Alex and Norma's son, Jacob, asks to hear the story of how his parents met, and the events leading up to them living in separate houses. "When did you stop loving mom?" He said, in a tiny voice, keeping his eyes trained on his pancakes. "I never stopped loving your mother. Never." He reiterated seriously. "I'll always love her, no matter what, ok champ?"

3x08, Alex confronts Norma on her porch about Sam's death. And she lies to him again like it's nothing. But if she doesn't care at all, why she finds herself at Alex's door in the middle of the night? Is she finally ready to share the truth with someone? And who is that redhead? Why the tought of Alex being with some other woman makes her act so stupid? She's lost control again.

What if Alex had gone through with his plan to have Norman committed to Pineview behind Norma's back? What would be the fallout for their marriage? And will Norma ever allow him to make things right again?

Norma takes care of a sick Alex. They're not a couple yet but their relationship is changing... and they both know it. Set roughly in between episodes 307-309.
