The Avengers are a group of teenage vigilantes, each with their own dark past. Their typical targets are child abusers, and the media doesn't have a very high opinion of them. Tony Stark, abused by his father and uncle and desperately hunting for his mother's killer, just wants to help them do their job-he didn't think he'd get attached.
