![]() Author has written 3 stories for Star Trek: 2009, and Sherlock. I am a college student aiming to be an English, Humanities, and/or History teacher and currently a clerk at an adult superstore. Yeah, that's about as exciting as it gets. I love fan-fiction, reading and writing it. Specifically, I adore reading several different 'verses: Harry Potter, Firefly/Serenity, Stargate: Atlantis, Star Trek (new and old), Criminal Minds, Sanctuary, Law and Order: CI and SVU, CSI, 10th Kingdom, Ouran High School Host Club, Wallflower, Sherlock Holmes, Lord of the Rings, Newsies, and several others I know I'm forgetting. Be it slash or het, I'll read it, and usually review. But let it be known, I am a Grammar Nazi. Having been an English tutor, beta reader, and part-time editor, I can't really kick the habit of reading actively and critically at the same time. I prefer to write het, if only because I am a girl and only know the whole guy-on-guy thing from what I've read. I am utterly in love with Mister Spock (Star Trek), Severus Snape (Harry Potter), Wolf (10th Kingdom), Greg Saunders (CSI), and Dr. Nigel Townsend (Crossing Jordan). Which translates to I dig my pale, scrawny guys and it's mega bonus points if they're nerdy and/or strange. ;D I have no idea what I'll post on here, what 'verse I'll fall into next, but I will admit that you can expect at least one non-Mary Sue OC, as well as lots of fluff. ^_~ Also! Care to reach me in person? Yahoo or Gmail will do it, EvalinaPhoenix on either of them! ^_^ May 2011: Well, I do have to say that I am tired of going to funerals already this year, and it is only the fifth month, but now life is back on track, as is my writing. Many thanks to the darling Balshumet for her encouragement, general awesomeness, and all around nifty-gal-pal moments. Also, for generating the need for recipes that even Kirk could eat for when I make her dinner. ^_^ June 2011: Regarding "A Crooked Parallel": sorry for anyone on alerts that keeps getting repost notifications. I seem to be having all the problems in the Northern Hemisphere with the frackin' formatting. _ September 2011: So, I've discovered BBC's Sherlock. So much slash-candy waiting to happen. ^_^ Having gotten bitten by the Musebuggies, I'll be posting as I can, but Crooked is officially on hiatus until I hunt down that irritating muse that initially inspired it. |
