You don't have to, but I suggest reading Pieces of Destiny first. Aria, Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Padme left Earth, but they're not where they expected to be. Instead of going back to just before the Clone Wars, they have ended up in the middle of the Original Trilogy, and are already leaving a lasting impact. Will they be able to get everyone out alive? Or make things so much worse?

Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Padme did not expect to find themselves in an entirely new Galaxy. All they knew was they saw something strange in a reflection. Now they're being told their lives are a movie and they're on some planet called Earth. Will they be able to get back to their own Galaxy? And will Aria, the girl helping them, be able to find a new life with them?
