This is the account I use to post reviews to fanfics I've read. I have another one where my stories are, but I don't like to leave reviews with that one. The reason being that I'm very honest in my comments. Unfortunately though, there are a lot of people that can't handle any kind of criticism, not even stuff that isn't mean at all. I might say something like "I felt you were trying too hard to rush the events in this chapter and it made me feel disoriented. It was really hard to take any of it seriously. I would suggest..." or "So-and-so was very out of character when you did this-and-that. Maybe you could change it to..."

Frankly, if you think that's too mean, then just don't ever bother posting your writing. That is NOT mean, not even REMOTELY! I could say WAY worse things than that most of the time, but I make a point of being polite. Too many people get offended by the smallest things, and then they report my comment because they can't handle anything other than fan-gushing, and then my account gets deleted (hence why this one is new). So forget it, I'm not leaving reviews with my main account. I don't want to lose all of my reviews from having to re-post to a new account, because people just want praise and attention without any true honesty!
