![]() Greetings! I used to be fairly active on this site, but mostly, I only stop by occasionally these days to check out new stories that really catch my interest. I used to write, but I don't much have the time anymore and prefer to enjoy the work others put up. You probably won't see me review often unless I feel I have something really worth saying; a bland "good job" just leaves me feeling uncomfortable. Perhaps I'll get back into it very soon…I do have seem to have some free time on my hands and a binder of notes… So, thank you to all the talented writers who had the courage to put their work up for the often unforgiving internet to see and enjoy, and thank you for your dedication toward your projects, whatever may come your way. Ta~ Writer Type: Fantasy, Adventure, Warfare, Hurt/Comfort, Family, (amateur) Horror Occupation: College Student Fandoms: Hetalia, Attack on Titan, Fullmetal Alchemist (: Brotherhood), Captain America (Avengers), X-Men Evolution, Gargoyles, MLP: FiM, Mass Effect, Sly Cooper, Fate/Zero, Sonic the Hedgehog, Soul Eater Wishlist: Motivation... Brainstorming Area Hetalia: Descent into Madness [Hetalia x Amnesia: The Dark Descent cross-over]: Amnesia AU, NOT Hetalia AU. Things like this aren't really supposed to exist! Ghosts, monsters, that…that Thing that's chasing us…! Magic?! They're just made up! They scare you and then you go about your life; end of story!…Can a hallucination hurt you though? I…I gotta keep it together, just a bit longer. I need to protect Italy. I need to find the others, wherever they are. I need to get us all out of here. No one knows we're out here, in the middle of no-frikkin-where! It's just me, and that'll just have to be enough. After all, I'm the hero. Family Tree [Hetalia]: America is excited to begin the year's party planning in advance. What? Those huge get-togethers don't just magically happen, you know. A call to Finland on the subject of Christmas, however, leads to a very interesting conversation that leaves America more than a little curious about his family. With the help of Canada, England, and a few others not expected, he might just discover some surprising things about his fellow nations…and perhaps, even himself…? A series of one-shots, each one focusing on a different nation and the unique relationship America shares with each of them and how they have changed through the years. Veil [Hetalia]: Hetalia AU. Seeking the calm of a small town and the comfort of family and old friends while he recovers from traumatic injuries, Alfred moves into Winter House with his twin brother Matthew and older half-brother Arthur in Heta, but very quickly begins to notice the old place’s…quirks. Turns out, it was once an inn and is probably the most haunted place in town. What exactly happened is Heta’s most infamous mystery and Alfred is more than content to let the past lie until strange things begin happening around him and he swears someone is following him around the house. Is it really restless spirits, though, or is Alfred suffering from more than physical wounds as he searches for a new purpose? His efforts to find answers for what he is experiencing digs up old memories–some better left forgotten and others overdue for closure. Every town has its sad stories, and perhaps Alfred is just the hero Heta needs to find some happier endings, but his own may be out of his reach alone. The Roads We Walked [ME]: What makes a hero? Wonder, want, or loss? The strength to go on, the courage to fight the odds, or the willingness to bear the burden? Credens Justitiam [Sonic]: Sonic the Hedgehog is a worldwide acclaimed hero and do-gooder, archnemesis of the would-be tyrant Doctor "Eggman" Robotnik, but there are threats in the world who well know how to make the most of their distracting climactic battles–and GUN is all too aware. Someone has to contain the threats hiding out of sight and they have just the team for the job to preserve the rest of the world's peace of mind, but what happens when a band of dysfunctional detectives cross paths with them? What does Shadow know about it all? Just what has been going on under Sonic's nose, and was he better off not knowing? Perdidisti Justitiam [Sonic]: Sequel to Credens Justitiam. Inveniens Justitiam [Sonic]: Sequel to Perdidisti Justitiam. Capture the Flag [Hetalia]: A retreat. That's what they're calling it, anyway–Our bosses, I mean–but I'm pretty sure all of us know it's really some kind of diabolical punishment. I mean, seriously, you start a few mini-world wars and suddenly your president is carting you off to this icy prison in Europe for absolutely no reason when there's a perfectly good tropical resort in Hawaii. Oh, oh, and to top it all off, you can't leave until you "make nice" with the very same people who were trying to axe you (literally, in some cases, Denmark). This is gonna suck–Wait, we're playing a game? Outside?! Oh no… Hetalia: Blood Covered [Hetalia x Corpse Party: Blood Covered cross-over]: Corpse Party AU. Sometimes, bad things come from good intentions. Sometimes, people make promises they can't keep. Sometimes, you try as hard as you can, but in the end it doesn't really mean anything. America is wrapping up another successful Hetaween party while a group of late-night stragglers decide to end the celebration with a round of traditional scary storytelling. Not for the first time, Japan steals the show, and in the merriment tells them of a thing one of his people had shared with him recently, a magical friendship charm. In an unusual show of good humor, several nations elect to try it out. They never imagined their very existences could be undone by a simple paper doll and a child's madness… Soldier On [Gargoyles]: The difference between a warrior and a soldier is a simple one, but it is a harsh lesson for the Clan. When the world is more full of magic and strangeness than anyone ever imagined, a handful of displaced gargoyles in one of the strangest places of all–New York City–were only small ripples in it, but as they make bigger waves, someone was bound to notice. Who Will Dance [Gargoyles]: Sort of sequel, sort of prequel to Soldier On. The first time, he didn't know who she was. The second time, he saved her life. The third time, she saved his. The fourth time, he said goodbye. And the fifth and final time, she asked him for a promise. XCOM: Enemy Abroad [Hetalia]: Hetalia AU? "Two possibilities exist. Either we are alone in the universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying." Maybe Mr. Clarke was right, in his time, but that was before the invasion. Before humanity was forced to band together in order to contend with an enemy from the stars that outmatched them in almost every way. What are you willing to sacrifice? When is it still worth it to pursue a pyrrhic victory? Do you sit back and hope for the best, or grasp fate in your own hands? Stryker [Hetalia]: Hetalia AU. "One of us; one of them." That was the motto of ARK when it came to keeping the abnormal and the mundane separate, lest one overwhelm and destroy the other. Best Kept Secrets [Hetalia]: Little known things amongst the nations and some of the world's most deeply buried secrets, from conspiracies to crushes to talents to ambitions. A series of one-shots investigating what we don't always see about the nations, what's under the surface, what's just out of sight. Some of it may be harmless, some of it may be earth-shattering, and most of it is probably just silly. Even nations have to maintain some dignity, after all. Ta-ta! |
