Update: Well, I'm still a struggling, working college student and I'm still working on my writing. Life is good though besides the economic downturn, decreased income, and the travails of trying to graduate. Yeah...life is good.

Right now I am a struggling college student. When I say struggling I mean in terms of time since I work full time as a bookkeeper and work full time. This is an escape for me so that I can maintain some sense of reality outsides of numbers and school. I tend to procrastinate and run off into tangents which probably do not bear well on my works. Truthfully, I am new to writing fiction, at least fiction as long as I am attempting. Most of my doodles in my journals are short stories.

I do enjoy Harry Potter and it is the main book that I write about due to the vivid characters and the countless amounts of "What ifs." Truthfully, I do want a happy ending to the series but there is a demon inside of me says there needs to be something dark to offset the happiness. Other books that I do enjoy are Lost, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Heart of Darkness, Poe's Short Stories, Dante's Inferno, and Passage to India. I truly love Shakespeare and a few of the Ancient Greeks' plays. Historical novels are what I am focusing on now, or what I would focus on if I wasn't consumed by my American literature class.
