This is a story based on the Arbiter character from Halo 2/3 and it focuses on his point of view during that Halo 2/3 period. As this is a story from the Covenants side, all Covenant names will be in their language.

When the Infinity left for Requiem a second time, John-117 didn't go with. He was on a planet of sand, a journey of self. Based on the Halo 5 trailer, this is pure speculation. Rated T because I assume you've already played the incredibly violent games.

So basically, I was very disappointed with Halo 4's main story line, so here's one I cooked up for you to read, enjoy!

In the wake of the escape from Requiem, Captain Lasky decides that the S-IV's need a little more training, and arranges for an old friend to come on board the Infinity. Little does he realize the far reaching consequences that this will have for himself, his crew, and the rest of the UNSC.

John-117 lost a part of himself the day Cortana died. Then, after he is put in cryosleep on an ONI mission, he meets a mysterious voice, that can send him back to the Forward Unto Dawn, and finds himself thrust back in time. Will he be able to set things straight this time? Or will he let history repeat itself?

The Chief detonates a nuclear device, destroying the Composer, and Cortana saves him one last time. But what happens after? Lost in an infinite ship graveyard, the last fragment of Cortana drifts, searching for life. But, something else is searching for her.

On the planet reach there is a bar that only Spartans and high ranking officers who know Spartans can be allowed into. There will be laughs. There will be violence. But there will never be a poor ending. Read until to drop! And if you fin ish then read again! Cheif, six, Johnson, gangs.

This has been on my mind for quite some time. Many of the deaths in the Halo series annoyed me because they just didn't hold water in my opinion. The deaths could of easily been prevented through simple logical actions. This is my take on them, enjoy.

Some sacrifices are just too much. A soldier gives up more than any other. A SPARTAN even more so. This is a sacrifice that's just too much for Master Chief and he does all in his power to change it.

Fifteen years after the Ark incident, humanity slowly rebuilds itself back to its former glory. However, even with a ceasefire with the former Covenant Empire, plenty of threats remain, eager to re-spark the galactic conflict that almost wiped humanity from existence. Behind the scenes, a rag-tag team of Spartans fight to secure peaceful relations with the galaxy at large.

The year is 2550. A team of elite ODSTs callsign "Charlie Six" are enjoying a much needed shore leave after months of fighting. The Covenant invade in the midst of their R&R and in the height of the battle, the team is recalled to a remote ONI base in the mountains. They find the Covenant are determined to seize the base and the team begins to ask the question: what're they after?
