I am a Very Proud Member of: The Pantheon of Intelligent People who are sorely against Mary-Sues and abuse of the fandom(s). I read this on Teh Panda's profile. DX

Not a league, or a group of upstarts, or a collective name for those of The Pantheon to huddle beneath, it is something I simply stand up for. For example:

I DO NOT believe that:
Aang is an ADHD kid who has had too much sugar
Aang has any siblings, or knew his parents
Katara is a PMS bitch who would freak out and become insanely jealous of your female OC
Katara is a helpless little girl who needs your male OC or Zuko to come to her rescue
Sokka is a moronic, food obsessed idiot
Sokka is a bad friend, or bad warrior who would easily lose to your male or female OC
Sokka is a mindless dork who will immediately fall head over heels in love with your female Firebender OC on sight
Toph, because she is blind, will be easily defeated by your male or female OC
Toph is a PMS bitch
Toph is a sweet little girl who will be immediately nice to your OC
Toph will ask to SEE anything that you might show her
Zuko is a wangst muffin who just needs a hug, and the right girl
Zuko is an angry boy machine with complete disregard for all others
Zuko is a horny teenager with nothing on his mind other than playing POONG-TANG, especially when your female LOVEBENDER with sparkling blue eyes, dazzling blonde hair, and enough prose describing her curves to kill a fully-grown bull elephant comes along
Zuko will ask your female OC for help in capturing the Avatar or regaining his honour
Zuko will bring your female OC onto his ship
Iroh is a tea-swilling imp
Iroh is a nice old man who will immediately invite your female OC back to their ship
Iroh will ask your female OC to help Zuko regain his honour
Iroh will be super nice to your female OC, to the point of chastising his own nephew, whom he thinks of as a son, IN FRONT OF HER

I think that about covers everything I DO NOT believe...

I DO believe that:
Aang is a very powerful, if inexperienced boy who will defeat the Fire Lord without the help of your multi- or love-bending OC
Aang is the one and only Avatar in the present timeline
Aand is the LAST Airbender
Katara is a very sweet, caring individual
Katara is very powerful and can take perfect care of herself, without the help of your dashingly handsome/strong/whatever male OC... or Zuko
Sokka is a very skilled warrior
Sokka has a lot of belied intelligence, though he may not always think before acting
Toph is a very strong, slightly naivete girl
Toph could PWN any OC you threw at her, and still have time left to have an argument with Katara and roll boulders at Aang
Zuko has a lot of angst and a tragic past, but that it has made him strong, not weak and petulant
Zuko is spoiled, and slightly bratty, and wants nothing more than to restore his honour, which he is not going to get back by bedding your LIGHTBENDING female OC
Iroh is a very clever old man who has lost and gained much in his life
Iroh is a very strong, very skilled Firebender who would probably fry your Sparklypoo OC if she came within fifty yards of his nephew

She's the unknown sister of Aang/Tezuka/Ryoma/Appa/Karupin/Fuji/Yukimura/Sanada. Her inner self is a punk goth chick. Her name is Crystal. She got sucked in to the world of Avatar but her mp3 and mobile phone still work. She's better than Azula. She's better than Katara. She's better than Sakuno. She's better than Tomoka. She's better than Toph. She's better than An. BUT! she cannot defeat Tezuka. She explains which point of view you are reading from because she thinks that the readers are too stupid to decipher her half-assed attempt at writing.

You KNOW your characters are Sues that's why you are mad at me for telling you the truth. I laugh at you.
