The tea shop Lloyd picks for them is sketchy at best, but sometimes you just have to endure sub-par tea if you want to find it in the early hours of the morning. (Or, Lloyd and Nya figure out Samurai X's identity a bit earlier, and tea goes well with late-night conversations.)

It's not even Lloyd's fault this time, really - he just happens to have terrible luck and a horrible sense of timing. It only makes sense that his bad luck would double then, if there are two of him running around (aka the inevitable movie!Lloyd meets show!Lloyd fic).

In hindsight, letting Lloyd run loose on a holiday made for excessive candy consumption is probably a bad idea, but c'mon. You gotta take a break from training some time, and they're all suckers for Lloyd's puppy eyes anyways. (And yes, the title is shamelessly ripped off from Thriller.)

Garmadon never quite had a way of seeing things clearly, since the venom, but he's always been sure of Lloyd. Or, Garmadon and Lloyd, in several contrasting snapshots.

A list of things Kai hates right now, in no particular order: the ocean, sharks, and the fact that Sensei Garmadon has no idea how to properly celebrate defeating the Overlord. But most importantly the ocean.

Maybe it's coincidence, but the further Lloyd gets, the more it seems that the color green naturally attracts tragedy to its wearers in the worst of ways. (Written for Ninjago Angst Week, the theme being betrayal)

It's not strange, per say, that Lloyd goes missing again, but that doesn't mean it worries Kai any less. After everything with Morro, he thinks he has pretty good reason, actually. (Or, a small post-Possession oneshot where Kai is slightly over-protective and Lloyd copes. Sort of.)
