![]() Author has written 26 stories for Harry Potter, Janet Evanovich, Mentalist, House, M.D., Numb3rs, Criminal Minds, Supernatural, A song of Ice and Fire, and MI-5/Spooks. Why hello there, fellow fanfictioners. Or visitors, if you are merely passing through. So hello. Nice weather, isn't it? I guess at the moment I'm a little obsessed with Numb3rs ( Which means it's the only thing that I am at all capable of writing ) although I do have the odd inspiration for the Mentalist, which I absolutely adore. I love Criminal Minds, and X-Files far beyond the normal threshold. Hence there are lots of other references in my stories. I must warn you, before you reach the part of the page with all of my fics, I am a massive shipper. The shipping part of my brain is constantly on overdrive, so most of my stories, past, present and probably future, are slightly romantic. Call it raging teenage hormones and an unhealthy obsession with Rob Morrow. Because that is what it is. My favourite characters read as follows: Numb3rs: All of them except Robin ( No offense to Robin lovers ) because she doesn't appear to have all that much character. Just stereotypical drama with Don. I haven't seen much of the first series, so I do not know much about Terry's character, so I do not mind her but shall never write anything with her in it. I love Colby because he's cute and he's from Idaho, and you never really get people from Idaho on crime programmes. I love David because he kicks ass and always has something interesting, funny or cute to say. I would very much like for Nikki and Megan to be in the same series, so I may include them both in some of my future fictions. Nikki is my idol, mostly because of her damned awesome hair. Don just kicks ass, and Charlie makes me laugh, along with the other overly endearing resident geeks. Alan is wise, and I love him for it. Liz, I think, is a character which should be taken alone, I always find that when she's in a relationship with another canon entity, things get complex, and her character gets too angsty and not in the good way. I don't mind her and Don together, but I find it squinches both of their characters, and I prefer them both either with other people (e.g Don and Nikki...) or alone. Liz on her own though? Ubercool. Mentalist: Jane, ( of course, who wouldn't?! ) Lisbon, Rigsby, Van Pelt ( although their drama is becoming a little tedious and rehearsed - for lack of a better word. I mean, why would the CBI actually have a policy against agents dating? And if so, why the hell would they tell their boss? I don't understand their relationship, but I love both of them, and their cuteness. ) and of course Cho. Who doesn't like Cho? Seriously? There's no business like Cho business. House: I am a HouseCuddy fanatic, so it makes sense that they are my favourite characters. I love Wilson, I liked Kutner( what a shame the past tense has to be used ) , Thirteen and Foreman, I don't mind Chase. Cameron irks me when she's acting really righteous and "ethical" and when she's chasing after House. Hence, if I have to write scenes with her in them, her character is toned down a lot. Janet Evanovich: I know I've written one story, but I'm not intending on writing any more. It just so happens that without a new book, I am without inspiration. But, as it goes, I love Steph, Ranger, Tank and of course Lula. Plus, the legandary Mooner. There are so many characters which I like, although I probably won't be writing more without the inspiration of a new Evanovich saga, which tells the story of babe... Harry Potter: I have a lot of favourite characters in this category. Hermione, Harry and Ron are amongst them, but there's really not that many people that I don't like. ( No one can really beat the Founders) I would also like everyone to admit that Draco Malfoy and Harry is just not going to happen. Neither is Harry/Dumbledore, Harry/Snape or Harry/Sirius. JK Rowling is a genius, although the way that she finished the series with that sicky yucky epilogue, I am inclined to rip the pages out and eat them. But I won't, because I can't draw a perfect circle. ( yet ) X-Files: I love pretty much everyone... even Cancer Man for his evillness. I love Mulder, Scully ( especially Scully ) Monica Reyes, John Doggett, Skinner... you name it, I probably love it. I also love Toombs, he was a great evilmeister. Just a thought: how did Mulder and Scully actually get back from Antartica?? Criminal Minds: Hell, I love them all... they're all great characters, which are all very human and realistic. No real complaints about anyone, except I'm not a big fan of Elle, I don't know why. Perhaps because she turned her back on her team and protested that they were not there for her, when it's not really their fault, and they tried to be there for her. I am a Hotch/Prentiss fan with an open mind for other relationships, even though I know there isn't a chance in hell that they'll actually be paired together. Ah well, what's fanfiction for? Most of my stories are helped along by the illustrious insomniac you all know as one kalabangsilver ( if you haven't read her work, please do, because it is amazing! ) and even though she doesn't entirely approve of my eternal and completely hetrosexual love for Dana Scully ( X-Files ) and Nikki Betancourt ( Numb3rs ) , she has given me much inspiration over the years. And she's my sister, so I kind of have to credit her for making me the way I am, emotional scarring and all. I like to keep family which I make up due to lack of information from the show constant, hence from one fanfiction, I will keep a brother's name the same, if you know what I mean. No, that was not a euphanism, it was just badly explained. I am not saying that these characters have actually been mentioned on the show or in the book or movie, but I still like them all to have names and faces in my fantasy world where Colby Granger walks around without his shirt. A small alert is in order: for anyone who previously reviewed and enjoyed the Criminal Minds fanfiction 'A Series of Unfortunate Events', I do apologise, but I have had to delete it. I read over it again with the full intention of continuing the story, but found that I disliked the writing of it so much that I had to delete it. My apologies if you enjoyed it, but I really didn't like the idea of that being attributed to me, because it's not my usual style of writing, and that worried me slightly. I may rewrite it one day, and I may like it more, and in that case, I may reload it, but it is unlikely. Anyway. And 'tis here which I bade you farewell, fellow fanfictioners, may the force take you in the direction of the review button. Peace. |
