![]() Author has written 4 stories for Sonic the Hedgehog. Every time, everyday, anybody is now a Survivor TVXQ *Keep the faith ... * Yes. I am the reigning champion of the Glitz Pit. Please stop asking. 9/25/2014- Listening to: "Gunjou Kurage" - LAST ALLIANCE (Seriously... that band is kickass.) New story in progress, but won't be up for whillllle. Might put up a one-shot before the end of the year. I still beta-read in the meantime, so if you need a story that needs a lookin' over, hit me up. I joined this site back in ’06, during my high school days, to delve into the fan fiction world. I have a few stories on here and I hope to add more. Not that I was the most active person, but I am now enrolled in a university, and y’all know how tedious college work is. However, I do make an effort to put out quality and (hopefully) enjoyable chapters for my readers. Admittedly, yes, my main domain is Sonic the Hedgehog. I do have other interests, but torturing blue hedgehogs is more amusing. All of my stories revolve around romance despite my distaste for the genre otherwise. Drama is my thing. Screwing with characters’ minds and exploring their perspectives is ... interesting. Sarcasm is heavily implemented in my stories. It is a realistic element since people can relate to being sarcastic. It’s everywhere. I think it is very important to stay “true” to the characters of a respective fandom. It is crucial for the effectiveness of the story. I dunno. I take all of my writing seriously. If you feel that I need to improve on something in my stories, then please inform me. Tell me everything I need to know. You will not hurt my feelings, believe me. I enjoy feedback on my work. I welcome all reviews: signed, lengthy, short, anonymous, whatever. If you have something to say, I want to hear it. Reviews indicate that folks took time out of their lives and were cool enough to comment on it. I guarantee that I will respond your comment via PM or within the current chapter of the respective story, just to express my humble thanks. I really do appreciate constructive criticism. Aspects of My Stories That Have Been Questioned Back when I really active on this site, I have received PMs and reviews from various members regarding certain aspects of my stories. I will address the main stuff here: Transitions Between POVs I do not like announcing the transitions between characters because I want the characters to be identified through the text. That’s partially why I am so descriptive in my stories; when reading, I should make it clear, without explicitly stating so, to the reader whom’s POV are they are witnessing the events. I think that stating the character beforehand sort of takes away from that. That falls on me, however, to make the transitions more fluid and less confusing. I accept the challenge. Cursing The stories are rated “T” for a reason. I have a bad mouth. Sorry, folks. However, I will refrain from using stronger words such as “fuck.” In addition, younger characters (i.e. Tails & Cream) and characters that [seemingly] would not curse (i.e. Tikal) will not use profanity. It would not be in their character, after all. Pairings I used to ship pairings like SonAmy, Taiream, and ShadRouge, but... eh. Don't really care anymore. When I decide to start posting things to this site again, pairings such as those won't really be the focal point (at best, I'll throw in some SonAmy fluff, but nothing beyond that). For my earlier stories, however, the pairings are what they are. Those are what I liked and thus what I supported. Not much to say beyond that. That goes for other series as well. Pairings will likely not be the focus of a story, but a particular may get some fluff. That's it. Character’s Ages However, the character’s ages will always be around, if not the same, as their official ages. Are you XxchiritarisuxX? Yup. Do you read or write fan fiction? I do both. Lately, I’ve been doing more reading than writing, though. When did you first start reading/writing fan fiction? Writing before reading. I began writing fan fiction when I was a kid. Admittedly, I wrote my fair share of crappy stories. I began reading fan fiction when I really begun going on the ‘net about ’06. The rest is history. What was your first fandom? Sonic the Hedgehog, of course. First ship? Sonic/Amy What website do you use most? YouTube.com. The heart of procrastination. What do you think of Fanfiction.net? It's a cool site. I enjoy writing fan fiction and receiving feedback on it, as well as reading and reviewing other stories. What fandoms have you written in? Publicly, I have written solely for Sonic the Hedgehog. I do have a few other stories on my computer for other fandoms. Pairings? Sonic/Amy, Ichigo/Rukia, Soul/Maka, Luffy/Nami, Heppokomaru/Beauty, ... Any fandoms you would like to write in? My main goal, despite its insanity, is to write at least one fanfic for Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. In addition, I would like to write for Soul Eater, Eden of the East, and Durarara! Do reviews affect how you write in any way? Yes. I’m grateful for them. No one has to press that review button and spend their time writing something about my story. Whether it be a criticism or a compliment, at least they’re providing (productive) responses on my work. Compliments, however brief or elaborate they are, confirm that people like and are supportive of my story. I believe that those should be appreciated, greatly, but I cannot rely on them alone. Everyone does not like everything, so I can’t let compliments lead me to misinterpreting that my story is “perfect.” Hell, most of the time, I’m not even fully satisfied with what I post, and I wrote the damn thing. I approach criticisms with an open mind and equate criticisms with flames. Really...they’re not the same. Provided that the criticism is well-rounded, I always, at least, consider the advice that that the reviewer gives. Do you use a beta? Nah, but I might use one for my future stories. Just for a second pair of eyes. I have beta read for other people, though. What ratings do you read/write? I read all ratings. The main thing I care about is if the story is interesting. I, however, tend to write under the "T" rating. That's mostly because of my bad mouth. Whoops. What warnings have you used on your fiction/read? I don't use warnings. The rating should be warning enough. Do you have any squicks? Erm... what? Do you role-play online? Used to. Don't really have time to RP anymore, but it was fun when I did. Have you ever stolen something from another person's work? That, my friend, is called plagiarism. No, I don't plagiarize. That's just downright lazy and ... pointless. If you don't have enough decency to come up with your own original ideas, then don't bother posting your stories. Simple. Favorite fandom to write/read? Sonic the Hedgehog. Favorite pairing? Sonic/Amy Favorite writer/writers? I don't have a favorite writer. I just like to read several stories from different authors to examine their writing style and how they convey their stories. How long should a chapter be? At least four pages long. It really isn't that bad, folks. It really isn't. Do you write/read drabbles? I read them, yes. Do I write them? Oh no. I'd probably suck at them. Any fandoms you avoid? Pretty much every fandom that I'm a part of actually, haha. They all have their obnoxious, ignorant, and hypocritical fuckwads. So, I fan alone in my little corner. Pairings you avoid? Those that make seriously illogical sense... crack or not. Warnings you avoid? "Summary sucks. Read and review!!11!" "My first fanfic so go easy on me.. NO FLAMES PLZ!!:)" "I'll continue if I get _ reviews!!" Do the number of reviews tell how good a story is? No. What do you think of Mary Sues? They're annoying and are mainly used by authors to insert themselves into whatever "fantasy" they want to be in. It's an absolute epidemic in almost every fandom that needs to be purged immediately. Have you ever flamed someone? Nope. Have you ever been flamed? Not yet. That's it, aren't you glad? D: | |||||||
