![]() Author has written 2 stories for Minami-ke, and Naruto. Hi everyone! I like writing and wanna get better at it. My interests vary from anime, cartoons, comics, books etc. Chapter 13 of Konoha Academy will update on December 27th. Current works: Konoha Academy: A Naruto high school AU. It contains several parallels with the Anime/Manga and takes creative liberties to account for it not taking place in the ninja world and because I'm not Masashi Kishimoto. Why I'm writing it: I love Naruto and I love most of its characters. Additionally, Naruto has many characters and, at least in Shippuden, fall around the high school age. I thought this would make it easier to write a high school AU. I see high school as a coming of age story. Some people say it's in college, but I think it's high school. In a way, it's a 3 year/ 4 year crash course on life. Fun facts:
This is my main story that I am working on. After the Anime: The events of Minami Ke that take place after the anime. Why I'm writing it: The anime had so many webs, it's hilarious how none of the secrets got exposed! I wanted to see what would happen if one of them did. Mostly, I wanted to finish where the three sisters left off. It's a really good gag anime if anyone wants to check it out! I have every intention on finishing this story. However, time and lack of audience interest has me shift my focus to Konoha Academy. I don't mind this story not getting attention since I'm writing it just for fun, but I feel I get more feedback from Konoha Academy, which will help me grow as a writer. Top 5 Writing Pet Peeves: 5) Unrealistic Chemistry - Yeah they fuck, but do they actually care about each other? What do they do to show that they care about each other? 4) Useless information - Is the character the class president? Cool! Is it mentioned ever again? No. That said, if there's something weird going on, mention it. Otherwise, I'd wonder why does the character have pink hair? 3) Stereotypes as stereotypes - Kind of like a token, but not really. I think gay men are the most common example. Many gay male characters are overly flamboyant. There is nothing wrong with being a very flamboyant, but does he also ... like ... collect stamps? What's his life?! Or is he there just to screw guys and give the main character moral support? 2) Mary Sues and Gary Stews - I hate it when a character is "perfect," especially the main character. A flawless figure, a super genius, and loved by everyone?! No one's like that, and it's not believable. Give the character some faults! FYI, being an orphan or having a rough childhood doesn't count. 1) Bitchy/ evil characters - Just because someone's the "bad guy" doesn't mean they are a bad guy. No one thinks of themself as the villain. (If you do, I highly recommend seeking professional help.) So, give reason for why the villain is the villain or why a character acts so bitchy. I make all of these mistakes. I never do it intentionally, but it always happens. If you ever spy this, please call me out either through a PM or in a review. I may debate you, but that's my way of learning. I'd really appreciate it. It will help me become a better writer. * Five Facts About Me:
