Hi there, name’s Dave. I’m 27 years old, British and an auditor by trade. I’ve been writing on and off for over ten years now, both original stuff and fanfiction. Most recently I’ve been hanging around the Valkyria Chronicles area - not only does the game lend itself perfectly to fanfiction, but both the quality and variety of fics there are impressively high considering the size of the section, and the community is very supportive.

At the moment I’m working on ‘Wolf Spider’, a five part fic based on Marina Wulfstan from VC. She’s the last character I ever thought I’d write a fic about, but when I came up with the storyline I just knew it had to be done. It features a rather different kind of Marina as I’ve tried to challenge some of the usual assumptions about her, so it’ll be interesting to see how people react to it.
