Hello. My name is Heidi and I spend most of my time writing due to the fact that it is a way for me to wind down after a rather long and stressful day. The truth is that writing is pretty much one of the few things that I can do because I have a learning disability that prevents me from doing some of the other things that people often would take for granted. For example, someone who is really good at math would be able to perform those particular abilities with the greatest of ease while someone with a learning disability would have a rather hard time with the simplest of tasks.That does not mean that the person cannot learn how to do these things it just means that it takes them a lot longer to do it. Writing stories and fanfictions, however, was the one area where I had been able to excel at even when I was in school mainly because I was always interested in creating and writing different short stories. The problem was that people did not seem to understand about these things no matter what fanfiction site that I would post these stories on during that time. There was always someone there that would turn around and say the most hurtful and coldhearted things just because there was something that they did not necessarily like about the fanfiction or story that I had worked so hard on and they would not stop to think about how hurtful their words were for someone that was like me. I have learned over the years that words can carry a heavy-weight if you are not careful about how you are using them, especially if you are leaving a rude, cold, cruel, hurtful comment about something that you have just been reading.

Ever since I could remember people have been saying these hurtful things about the things that I could and could not do and recently I have been having to deal with these things when it comes to my stories that are being posted as well and that just is not right. There are people out there that seem to think that fanfictions are about keeping certain things completely the same while you are writing your story about a particular fandom and that is not exactly true. Fanfictions can be told about a particular character or a particular place depending on the fandom that you are writing about, and yet there are people out there that are giving others a hard time just because they are doing things in their own way so that they can tell the story in a way that they are actually seeing it. People are going to see things differently than someone else and yet there are people out there that do not seem to really understand any of these things when someone else is doing the writing. There are several things that people really should keep in mind during the time that they are reading the stories and fanfictions that I am writing.

1. Most of my stories and fanfictions will have the characters acting and saying things that they normally would not be saying if you had read the books, watched the tv series, or watched the movies
2. Many times I have multiple chapters in the stories and fanfictions that I am writing and love to see comments as I post the newest chapter but I do ask that the comments are positive as the negative comments cause problems with the writing and there is absolutely no reason to be mean just because you do not like something that was written.
3. Absolutely no negativity will be tolerated. If you cannot be nice about one of my stories that you have just written then do not comment anything at all. You would not like it if someone was negative about the stories that you were writing after all of the hard work that you had put into it so you should give that person the same respect.
4. It is your choice whether you read one of my stories or fanfictions so if you decide to read something that I have written then it was your choice to read it. That does not, however, give you the right to treat me badly when you also have the choice to stop reading that story.There is no reason to be mean, cold, and cruel about it and become a bully just because you do not like something that I have written.
5. Treat my writing as if it was coming from a member of your family. You would not be cold and cruel to a member of your family if they had written the fanfiction or story that you had recently finished reading so do not do it when you are commenting on something that I have written.
6. Be respectful. You would want me to be just as respectful about something that you had written whether it was something that I liked or not so keep that in mind when you are commenting on something that I have written. Your words can do just as much harm as it can good and a nice comment can make the person want to continue what they are doing while any negative or hurtful comments can cause severe writer's block and can also be considered as bullying which is punishable by law in many places.
7. I am willing to talk about anything in my stories on a one to one basis but if you are going to be causing problems because you do not like something then it is quite obvious that the only reason you are doing these things is because you are jealous of the obvious talent that the person has and you just don't want to give the story or fanfiction the proper chance that it so obviously deserves. If you do not like the story then simply stop reading it do not use it as the main reason to cause problems for the person just because they see things differently than you do.
8. I have been writing for a long time and I know what I am doing. Do not comment on my stories and fanfictions acting like you know better than I do about the way that I am wanting my story or fanfiction to come out. I am not writing these strictly for you and it would be nice if you would respect me and my writing instead of turning to bullying when you do not like something.
9. Do not and I repeat DO NOT come on my personal facebook page and continue your unwanted drama and negativity just because you do not like the fact that someone sees something differently than you do. Not everybody sees things in the same way when they are reading a story or book or watching a tv series or movie and because of that, they are going to write their fanfiction the way that they see it or feel it. If you cannot understand that then please do not read something that you are going to comment your negativity on.
10. Negativity or negative comments ARE bullying whether people want to admit to it or not and there are some people out there that need to realize that. For those that are posting the negative comments on my stories be warned I have the police monitoring my account and they will get all of the information from your comments that they need to track you down and make sure that you have the consequences for the negativity that you are posting on any of my stories. If you do not like something then simply stop reading it.
11. Any and all positive comments or thoughts are more than welcome. If you can word your comments so that they would not be hurting someone that has a learning disability then please do not let this bother you or keep you from commenting on my stories. From this moment on I am not tolerating any negativity or mean comments from people who are completely jealous that I obviously give my stories more thought than they even do with theirs. If you want to have your stories respected them show me the same respect when you are commenting on mine.

I know that this is quite a list but I have just reached a point where all of these things had needed to be said due to the fact that people are getting away with being mean to other writers and mainly me just because of the fact that they do not like something that I have written.I normally give people the time that they need to write their stories and that is something that I would appreciate in return without having to deal with being bullied or with other people being negative because of it. I may have a learning disability but that does not mean that people have the right to treat me any differently than they would if it was a member of their family that had written that story or fanfiction so please be respectful and I will do the same thing to you.
