Hey,

my name is Catherine and I am a BioMedical Sciences student in Amsterdam. I love science as a whole because it is based on the truth, and I like to base my views on an anchor that strong and constant.

Though my mother tongue is Dutch, I feel more comfortable using English. It's a language that offers infinite ways to express myself and because of its extended vocabulary and grammatical possibilities allows very precise descriptions, or to be as vague as an aquarel painting and still convey the mood. In these respects, Dutch just doesn't do the trick.

Stories based on a show should remain true to it. Especially with the Booth and Brennan relationship, it is easy to shift to out-of-characterness while their relationship is what carries the show, so I encourage everyone to pay attention to this as you write! No matter how heart-warming fluff can be, it's no fun when it's so obviously out of character. Also, I respect people who mind their spelling, and I know many others agree with me on this.

That being said, I admit my 'early work' is not the best, but practice makes perfect and I'm an eager learner! I try to always have a plausible, firm plot - no loose ends, interesting storylines to weave through the plot, non-boring descriptions and interesting characters (that will remain in character as best as possible). Suspense and romance are also on my list, as is humour!

I think that FanFiction.net offers a great possibility for everyone to share thoughts, improve, and enjoy each other's work.

When I write, I put my heart, soul, and mind in it. I hope you'll enjoy my stories!
