Author has written 1 story for Final Fantasy VII. About me: Not bothering to properly socialize and firmly believing that quiet and peace are the most valuable things in life, I am probably the most boring person you will come across. My addictions (or let's just call them 'hobbies' for the sake of not disturbing my always fragile mental equilibrium) are probably the otherwise most prominent features about me. They include: music, yoga, foreign languages, cooking, anime, manga, J- & K- drama, Final Fantasy, Japan, chain-smoking, heavy-drinking and of course fan-fiction. Being more of a reader than a writer, there are only a handful of stories I've ever written, and as all of them are in the slash-genre, involving Japanese musicians, they won't be posted on this site. However, if you are interested there are a couple of them posted at a somewhat similar, but more 'adult' site (I'm sure that all of you fan-fiction-veterans out there know what I mean). I can be found there under the pen-name 'sun'. I mainly write for my personal amusement and only bother doing so when I want to read something I can't seem to find out there -like a specific pairing or a different approach on a character. Not that the outcome is always something to be proud of.. English is not my native language and I know that I tend to make horrible mistakes (word-order and punctuation -but not only- are my personal nightmares) -and I really AM sorry about that, so if you're asking why I still persist in writing in a foreign tongue, here are the reasons: 1. Because of the massive tons of English fics I've read along the years, at some point I must have subconsciously made the equation fan-fiction=English. That is also one of the reasons why I almost never read fics written in other languages (sadly, because I recently discovered a rare jewel written in German --see below in the favorites-section if you're interested). 2. It improves my knowledge of the language. Every time I write something I am forced to look-up tons of words and expressions I otherwise wouldn't even have thought about looking-up. 3. and of course to reach a larger number of readers. I may be primarily writing for my personal amusement, but I discovered that there is nothing like knowing I was able to keep pleasant company to someone I don't even know. Well, that's all I have to say about me. If there's anything else you need to know feel free to ask! |
