00 - Memo Rojars, Jr. (MEX) - Memo is based on a Mastretta MXT, which came out the same year Cars 2 did and produced in the same country Memo is from. Memo is also numbered after his real life racing number.

00 - Zed (US) -

00 - Jimmy Cables (US) - Racing for Intersection was a team he was born to race for. Even since his college years, he was known as the campus' match-maker, with about a 84/16 percentage success.

00 - Flip Dover (US)- What started as a nickname because of a crash on his first race, turned into a nickname that describes what he's capable of. Flip is very light on his wheels and was inspired to be by many famous racers, including the late, great Fabulous Hudson Hornet and Lightning McQueen in his rookie years. He never boasts, shown to be very brave and a bit of a daredevil and does his tricks to keep the fans happy as well as entertaining the kid-cars. He often uses his moves to cheer up friends and family.

03 - Fabrizio (ITA) - He's based on a 2009 Frazer-Nash Namir. His number comes from his concept art.

4 - J.D. McPillar (US) - JD is extremely hot-headed. It is important to be careful what you say around him as he will take the wrong way. He's very stubborn

05 - Sebastian "Max" Schnell (GER) - Sebastian, or as his friends call him "Max", is very smart, ambitious racecar as well as being a thoughtful, practical and logically thinker. He looks at problems in a calculated manner and often looks to Long or Shu for advice. Being an engineer, he knows his way around the engine bay and gets very creative ideas which help his friends get faster, but only when he's not in the race with them.

5 - Lane Locke (US) -

5 - Eric Braker(US) - Because the Nex Gens are all electric, the Piston Cup brought in three new sponsors, Combustr, SynerG & Carbon Cyber, which became known as the top three sponsors. Being the racer for one of these three, Eric is rarely seen without Jim and Chris. He's the friendliest out of the three, both calm and relaxed, until the green flag waves and his smile turns into a frown.

6 - Bubba Wheelhouse Jr. (US)- Bubba is the third friendliest of the next gens, but is the most friendliest in his own little group. He's very out-going, likes to be with his friends and isn't afraid to speak his mind.

007 - Nigel Gearsley (UK) - He's numbered after the Aston Martin DBR9 driven by Tomas Enge, Peter Kox & Johnny Herbert.

8 - Sun Wing (孫榮) (CHI) -

09 - Raoul CaRoule (FRA) - Raoul is very self-assured, confident in his abilities and very light on his wheels. His abilities are often his downfall, making to over-confident.

9 - Joey Dundee (AUS) -

10 - Rip Clutchgoneski (N.REAR) - Rip is known to be one of the first racers for his country ever since it's separation from Russia, but everycar knows him as one of the few cars who never talks, due to a problem with his vocal pipes. Despite this, he's quite exuberant and over-emotional, can distracted very easily, aims to be the best he can be

11 - Marlina Wilsburg (GER) - Marlina is short-tempered, blunt, never bluffs and is very laid-back, but she is loyal to her friends and means well. Despite her concept art shows her to be the same basis as Shu in the French Race but very similar to Carla's basis in the German race, she's actually based on the Aston Martin Valkyrie, except has raised rear end and sides of Carla's basis. She's numbered after the year Cars 2 came out, originally number 10.

11 - Chip Gearings (US) -

11 - Chris Roamin' (US) - Because the Next Gens are all electric, the Piston Cup brought in three new sponsors, Combustr, SynerG & Carbon Cyber, which became known as the top three sponsors. Being the racer for one of these three, Chris is rarely ever seen without Spikey and Jim. To Chris, it's all about his appearance. He's the most pompous, sophisticated and narcissist out of the three, but he does care about his friends, often passing advice and kind words to his fellow racers and friends. Due to his pompousness, he often gets to big for his wheels and gets visits from Karma.

13 - Danica Pandrip (US) - Her name is based on real life Indycar driver, Danica Patrick as well as her number and livery, all though her green is a paler than her real life car.

13 - Ripslinger (US) -

14 - Fernando Alonso (ESP) - Numbered after his real life racing number. Alonso is the only replacement who's basis that hasn't changed.

14 - Miguel Camino (ESP) - Miguel is known to very noble, brave and tough but very caring, loyal and gentle. He's tough side rarely comes out and only saves it for when the time calls for it. He is also shown to be quite a ladies-car and is often seen flirting with them.

14 - Little King (IRL) -

15 - Long Gé (CHI) - Long is Long is based after BMW M3 E46 GTR. He's numbered after the same year he was added to the Fast as Lightning app.

19 - Bobby Swift (US) - Bobby is a bro, he loves hanging out with his friends both on track and off. He allows makes room for friends.

19 - Danny Swervez (MEX) - Danny is a snob. He always looks down on anycar, with his traditional snotty glare. Just like Chase, he's can be friendly and loyal to those who he thinks deserve it. When you make friends with him, you won't want to get rid of him.

2.0 - Jackson Storm (US) -

21 - Ryan "Inside" Laney (US) - Ryan is known by his friends to be the life of the party. He's very cheeky and loves make jokes, especially one liners.

21 - Speedy Comet (US) - Like the name suggests, Speedy loves to race and gets trill out of it. Nothing put a bigger smile on his face, than going flat out, inches from his fellow racers. When asked, his fellow racers may end up saying the same thing, 'he's a sad strange little kid trapped in an adult racer's shell'. He gets excited very easily, can get distracted during all his excitement. In fact, when he ends up getting shunted or spins out, you may hear his screams of joy as he corrects himself or as he flies past on the in-field.

24 - Jeff Gorvette (US) - Jeff is a bro, loves hanging out with his friends and is known to be the life of the party.

24 - Chase Racelott (US) - Chase is quite blunt and looks down on strangers. He has a zero tolerance for bullies and will always stand up or try to cheer up the victim. Like Danny, he's known to very loyal and friendly to those who he thinks deserve it. When you make friends with him, you won't regret it.

25 - Hubs Steelyvalve (IRL) - He's basis on a '10 Audi R8 V10 Plus.

28 - Phil Tankson (US) -

28 - Tim Treadless (US) - It's always a competition to Tim, always aiming for first place but will always settle for the top five. He's very ambitious, very serious and has no time for friends, outside his crew and sponsor.

29 - Carla "Carlinha" Veloso (BRA) - Carla She's numbered after Brazilian racecar driver, . Ana Beatriz's 2013 finish position.

29 - Milka Duno (VEN) - She's the wife of Todd Marcus. She was called Danica Patrick in "The Greatness in the Marcus", however her name, sponsor, livery and number changed in the reboot, "The Rise of a Rookie." Once she makes her debut, Todd and Milka will be seen a lot more together. Her sponsor is RAB Racing.

33 - Ed Truncan (US) - Ed is the most cheerful racer you could ever meet. His cheerfulness could rival Cruz's. However, he's known to be quite gullible and can't tell the difference between cars being serious and telling sarcasm.

34 - Dirkson D'Agostino (US) - Dirkson's racing style has always been agility based. He has an insane ability of weaving around cars and negotiating through the packs to get to the top. He sometimes ends up having a grudge match with Lightning McQueen on the track.

36 - Shu Todoroki (JAP) - He's numbered after Kazuki Nakajima race entries, who also drove a Toyota for Le Mans, from 2007 to 2009.

38 - Mark "Frosty" Winterbumper (AUS) - His basis is a Ford FT Falcon. Originally numbered 5 after his real life racing number, number 37 after his age, numbered 3 after his 3rd place finish in the 2011 Ford Performance Racing but is numbered after his race wins.

Being the racer for one of these three, Jim is rarely seen without Chris and Spikey. He's prefers being a loner, but he's known to be hard to please and impress. Trying to impress Jim can be quite a challenge but when you do, you gain his respect and he'll try and help you in areas you need it most.

70 - (GER) - He's based off a Porsche GT1. Although his number is 7 in the concept art, I just swapped the the 0 & 7 around.

74 - Miranda Cosrace (Sidewall Shine Racer) (US)- Although her personality is quite close to Cruz's, she's a lot more calmer and doesn't act like a goofball. She's a lot more confident, this mostly comes from the fact she's has to be, as she and Cruz are role models to girl kid-cars everywhere. She has a good sense of humour but that does disappear when things go south. She's the girlfriend of Jonas Cavarth. Once she makes her debut, Jonas and Miranda will be seen a lot more together.

82 - Darren Leadfoot (US) - Darren is a very sly and sneaky racer, always having tricks up his wheel-wells and having a back up plan for his back up plan. He's also very quiet and knows how to use his opponents weaknesses and strengths and the track to his advance. He's very tactically and uses his practise laps learning the track, hence why sometimes his lap times may not be the best.

85 - Michéle CaRoule (US) - Michéle's personality is very similar to her husband's, except she's more. Her basis is an Audi Quattro S1. She's numbered after the year the person she's based on drove the Audi Quattro S1 for a few races.

88 - Jackson Skyshifter (US) -

90 - Ponchy Wipeout (US) - Ponchy is known to be very brave, which comes from his days of being a stunt double. He's known to go around corners a bit faster and takes more risks, especially squeezing through extremely narrow gaps.

90 - Paul Conrev (US) - It was never a competition to Paul. This is shown to be true many a times, as he hangs out with the other next gens before a race. He's very friendly, like Ed, but Paul's more intrusive and is known to get too close, but he means well and gets on well with the other next gens, as well as fans and teams.

92 - Murray Clutchburn (US) -

92 - Sheldon Shifter (US) - Sheldon is the second friendliest but unlike Ed, he's a very calm and charming. He's very charismatic, very confident and laid-back.

93 - Ernie "Giddyup" Gearson (US) -

96 - Jan "Flash" Nilsson (SWE) - He's numbered after his debut year in the STCC as well as the year where he got his first place win. He's based on a Volvo S60 V8 Supercar.

121 - Dino Draftsky (US) - Dino often gets called old because of his first name as well as in Latin, it means terrible.

123 - Todd "The Shockstar" Marcus (US) - Similar to Jonas, Todd can't get rid of his rookie status. Once she makes her debut, Todd and Milka will be seen a lot more together.

123 - Jonas Cavarth - Jonas is known to be quite a try-hard, determined to lose his rookie title. He's the most determined, rarely ever gives up even when the odds are stacked against him. He blames himself when he loses a race, but does give the most credit to his crew, as well as his girlfriend. He's the boyfriend of Miranda Cosrace. Once she makes her debut, Jonas and Miranda will be seen a lot more together.

Originally, I was going to add the Deutsche Touring Masters, the two Le Motors Prototypes, World Rally Championship, Corvette GT2 & Aston Martin GT1 as characters. However, the Aston Martin looked to similar to Nigel, the two Le Motors Prototype cars look like Shu & Carla with only different liveries (their expressions look like Shu & Carla too), the Corvette could easily be Jeff, World Rally Championship looked like he's a mix between Michéle Mounton & Raoul CaRoule & the Touring Masters is very like Max.

Interestingly enough, Fernando was suppose to become the Indycar however I decided to keep him the same as he and Miguel are in the same GT series as well as the same team, hence they are both numbered 15.

Considering that I'm making a Cars 2 rewrite soon, I felt that if the story is getting an update, the cars are too. As stated, Fernando is the only replacement/international racecar that hasn't been updated, apart from his number being changed.

All though MK's debut was in a humanized story, in an upcoming series, she's stated to be a dark purple '85 Toyota MR2.
