Cold: YYHIY The Spirit Detective team follows up on a disturbance in the Makai and gets in over their collective head with an injured girl, a jewel, and not the foggiest clue about either one. When the jewel enters the girl's body and she lapses into nightmares, their job becomes a beast they're not quite sure they want to tackle.

Heart of Ice: NarutoIY Love blossoms between a misplaced miko and an effeminate Hidden Mist ninja, just in time to be squashed by death and none other than Kakashi and the kids of Team 7. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Forbidden Love: YYHIY Kagome thought she'd been at her wit's end when she relinquished her position in the group to Kikyo - she needed a break, needed some time in her own era. She thought she was at her lowest when she found she was locked out of the well. She thought she was pushed over the edge when she realized the majority of the jewel was with her, 500 years in the future. It only took a few thugs from Sarayashiki Junior High and a dose of Naraku to prove that she hadn't seen anything yet.

Fragile: YYHIY Sanity is a fragile idea at the best of times. Kagome had been teetering on the edge ever since she'd started the Shikon Jewel adventure. The systematic picking off of her loved ones was the push that sent her over, and even Naraku could not have anticipated the results. Unfortunately for Spirit World, neither could they - but high school girls were usually the last on the list of suspects when demons started dropping like flies.

No Regrets: NarutoIY Itachi wasn't without competition in his clan. Kagome wasn't about to be another faceless victim. A magical well gave her the opportunity twice for a new life, but everything pointed back to Konoha. Everything pointed back to him.

Tortured In A Different Dimension: NarutoIY Since the day she turned fifteen, Naraku's evil had thrown her life out of sorts. Since the day the jewel was completed, she'd been his prisoner. It wasn't enough for him to destroy her life, and perhaps even Japan's timeline - he fancied himself a destroyer of worlds, and it was time to move on to the next one. For Kagome, Konoha meant salvation. No one in the Hidden Village could have imagined what Kagome's arrival meant for them.
