Hello there dear readers, and welcome to my profile!

My name is SpinTown, if you didn’t already guess, and I’m an online author, online role player and cosplayer. I’m 18 years old, from the UK, and I’m currently a College student studying the film and media industry alongside English Literature. I’m hoping that when next year rolls around I’ll be in University training to be a film maker, as it’s a big ambition of mine to become a film director.

My fan fiction writing information

I have written a few fan fictions in the past, and I’m currently working on a Portal fan fiction which can be found on my fanfiction.net profile. I am a huge fan of the Portal series, and I hope that all of you other Portal fans out there will enjoy reading, it just as much as I enjoyed writing it. The name of my Portal fan fiction is Back to Aperture, so be sure to check it out if you’re interested by all means, and please if you can, write me up a little review in the comments section to tell me what you thought of it. Negative or positive reviews are much welcomed by me on my stories; as they are very important in helping me with improving my work, so don’t be shy!

My fan fiction writing is quite straight forward; I’ll usually make up a story that’s based from either a movie/cartoon/video game, and try to make it as entertaining as I can for you guys. Most of my fan fictions are rated either “T” or “M”, but that really depends on what happens in the story and how far I take it, but usually my stories are given an “M”, just because my writing style is usually more adult, so read those at your own risk. As for workflow on my fan fictions, I won’t be posting up chapters very often due to me having a high work load at college, so expect around one chapter to be published every 2 months or so. Because of this, I’ll request all my readers to please be patient, and I’ll try and work as fast and try as hard as I can. My fiction writing information:

I have been writing fiction stories for a long time, and I never seemed to be low on ideas for new ones. The current fiction story that I’m working on is called My Name is M, and will be published on my FictionPress profile once it is complete. This story has been inspired by many things, including characters and personalities that I’m familiar with in my day-to-day life, so I hope you will find it very “colourful” and exciting. This story will be rated “M” for later chapters that will include violence, high fear/danger elements, and adult content, so read at your own risk. As always I’m very welcoming towards criticism, good or bad, so feel free to comment on if you’re enjoying the story or if you can think of any ways I could improve.

I’d say that my fiction writing is pretty straight forward too, but also slightly different from my fan fiction writing. Firstly, the fiction stories in which I create are usually about 50% inspired by other things and 50% made up by myself. I have a rather unique writing style which will always come across in my fiction writing, as my fiction stories are, of course, a lot more original than my fan fiction ones. Most of my fictional stories are rated “M”, as I usually prefer more adult content stories personally, plus I find I can write more freely with an “M” rated story—so again, read those at your own risk. Now, due to me having a high College work load, I won’t be publishing fiction stories that often, but when I do I’ll publish each finished chapter one after another each day once the story is complete. Once I have finished posting up all the chapters, to end the story I’ll post up an ‘Author’s Commentary’ chapter, which will just basically be me talking about my inspiration for the story and the symbolism and whatnot. My role play information:

I have done many role plays in the past for different characters and it is a really big hobby of mine that I take seriously. I try and play each character to the very best of my ability, although I’m usually a lot more in my element with role playing as an antagonist character. I will be happy to role play either on fanfiction.net or any other websites as long as I’m given clear instruction on the role play’s required rules. If any of you need a certain character to role play on a forum then feel free to PM me here on my fanfiction.net profile, although I do have a preferred list of characters which I am familiar with that are listed below, so any one of those would be ideal, although I may be compromised into playing other characters if I think I may be able to pull them off.

Currently I am preparing to do a cosplay/rp/ask blog on Tumblr for the character Mandy, from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, as it’s something that I’ve wanted to do for a long while. In order for me to make the blog successful, I’ll need to purchase a few things before I can begin posting up entries and asking questions, so please be patient with me while I get everything sorted out. I’m really excited to do this, and I hope there are plenty of Grim/Billy/Mandy fans out there that will be too.
