Hello, welcome to my page! I'm Daisy, a 19 year old student from England, displaying a bit of a mish-mash of fanfiction. I'm mainly interested in Lord of the Rings, but also dabble in Harry Potter and Narnia. I'm a hobbit at heart, but have an additional soft spot for Eowyn and 'the Gondor lot'. Love Sirius and Lupin. I'll read pretty much anything as long as it's well written, but have a strange enjoyment for angst and tragic fics. Don't ask me why, perhaps it cheers me up to read about people who are worse off than me.But I also like to read a bit of hobbit fluffy romance when the mood takes me, as long as its not too sickeningly nice! Generally, you can't beat a bit of escapism, which fanfiction duly offers in abundance.

I'm an English student so don't have much time for the writing and reading of fanfiction. Some of the stuff I've posted here is ancient, written when I was a 16 year old experimenting with the concept of fanfics. So some of my work I like, some I no longer like, and some I like a little but most of it could do with improving! When I'm in the mood I'll sit down and do some major re-writing (or so I keep telling myself). I always welcome reviews, I don't care if you don't like my work providing you tell me why you don't like it. Constructive criticism is appreciated.

Quick guide to my writing. The fics I personally like are my Boromir fic 'What News of Boromir my Lord' (could still do with some reworking) and 'Being Second Best'. 'Saying Goodbye', 'Farewell Samwise the Brave', 'Beds and Swords' aren't bad either, worth a look. 'Let Go' contains some aspects of good writing, but the character of Daisy has begun to annoy me because she's a bit of a whimp, pathetic, I guess. But if you can look past that it's a good enough read. 'The Elf and the Hobbit' and 'The Unexpected Hero' were written absolutley ages ago so they leave a lot to be desired, but if you consider my age at the time of writing, they could be worse. Pieces of rubbish that I haven't quite the heart to delete? 'A Trilogy of Poems' (really quite useless, should get rid), 'Ron Weasly and the Missing Toothbrush' (admittedly, I still think it's quite funny, if a little juvenile) and 'Writer's Block' (not the best, to be honest!)

So there you have it, that's me and that's my work, take a look if you like! I've got at least three half finished fics, and one day I'll start re-posting my old ones, get rid of some of the rubbish here and work on some new additions to take their place. Thanks for reading,
