As such, Danny is sent to Hogwarts, but there is more to the exile and the experiment that caused it than he knows.

Danny placed his hand flat against the ground, his eyes narrowing. If he could just figure out where the faint vibrations were coming from, he could put the uneasiness he felt behind him. But, the longer he sat there with his eyes shut and all his focus on figuring out where the faint buzzing was coming from, he had a feeling he was in way over his head.

The boy at the door has a ghost under his skin. It's a close fit, but green light still seeps out. It paints him smeary shades of radioactive green. Under the smoky light you're fairly certain he's a teenager with dark hair, a couple years older than you. Beyond that, it's hard to make out details. When he looks at you, his eyes flare like glow-in-the-dark stars.

When Danny accepts Clockwork as his mentor, he doesn't expect his first task over the summer to be to protect a couple of enigmatic kids, and take up residence in a small town called Gravity Falls, which is laden with supernatural energies. Meanwhile, the Pines twins are curious about their mysterious new tenant, who seems to be a lot more than he appears. Rating may go up.
