![]() Author has written 9 stories for How to Train Your Dragon, Leverage, Captain America, Star Wars, and Avengers. The video starts rolling and you see a white room. Hiccup strolls on screen and begins to monologue, "Welcome to Mellpen00's profile. You will find that-" he is interrupted by a ginger Scot (not a good combination) marching in. "Oi! How come you get to introduce her? She's known me longer!" Hiccup turns to the miffed companion and replies coolly, "But has she written anything about you?" He watches as Amy works her jaw. "Didn't think so." Hiccup continues, "As I was saying, you'll find that Mellpen00 has many interests--" "Well, I fly in a time machine!" The TARDIS materializes and Amy looks towards it in triumph. "I have a dragon." Toothless alights near Hiccup and warbles. Amy is about to reply when a blonde dressed neck to toe in black rappels from the ceiling. (There's a ceiling in this place?) "I'm a thief. Did anybody ask?" "No, Parker, I'm afraid they didn't," a star-spangled figure strolls on. (Did the national anthem just start playing?) "And isn't stealing illegal?" "Leave it up to Captain America to make it all about rules." Cap turns to face the dashing young man who has just sauntered in behind him. "And leave it up to Flynn Rider to defend a thief." Cap stares at Flynn intensely, but Eugene keeps his cool. "Has anyone seen Mr. Tumnus?..." a young girl wanders in, and seeing the (not really) battle of wills going on, she asks, "Pardon me, am I interrupting something?" "No," five voices say in unison. (How exactly did the Cowardly Lion get here?) Even the presence of a child hasn't removed Steve's attention from his opponent, and Flynn yawns, "Oh please, you're acting like I'm Stark-" "And so, because of the genealogy of Numenor, that makes him her cousin." "Ah, I see. Seems like that would make for very awkward family reunions. Though with the Elves I suppose it's all rather uncomfortable, what with the genocide and all." "Oh, great!" Hiccup groans. "Look who decided to join the party!" "No use any of us being here now." "Might as well break out the Sindarin dictionary, that's the only way we'll get a word in edgewise." Several similar complaints arise, and one by one, the previous occupants of the white room make their exits. The TARDIS dematerializes; Toothless flies off; with a roll of her eyes, Parker rappels back into the ceiling (I think); and everyone else goes off to strike up a conversation with Algebra in the Forgotten Room. Soon, the Steward of Gondor and the Mayor of the Shire are quite alone. "Where did everyone go?" Sam asks, looking around. "We seem to have run them off," Faramir replies, also casing his surroundings. "But the more important question is, where did we go?" Samwise looks at his companion confusedly, then realization dawns. "Oh! You don't know do you? No, I suppose not. Mellpen00's very careful with you, especially after what PJ did to you. You've probably never seen it in this state, but I suppose it's time you found out." Sam takes a deep breath, "This is her imagination." -0o0-0o0-0o0-0o0-0o0-0o0-0o0-0o0- Hello, you person who has been gracious enough to click through to my profile! First off, thank you! I will tell you that I'm not big on publicizing personal information, but I'll tell you what I AM big on: FANDOMS! (even though I rarely like to term them that) I feel like they're the best thing since sliced bread. :) I am a lover of all beautiful and well made art. Whether it be music, painting, sculpture, literature, or cinematic art, I love the expression of beauty and order shown in each, and, as I am a Christian, I especially love it when they reflect the wonderful nature of our benevolent Creator. Fandom, - particularly fanfiction - I believe, is a great way to further explore the amazing worlds that have been laid out for us by previous artists, and (for those of us who write) stretch our own abilities as artists as we reach out to grasp and visualize characters and universes that are not our own and portray them with new eyes. Most of the things I am majorly into can be puzzled out by the examination of my introduction, some of the most obvious being Lord of the Rings (more generally, anything Middle-earth), the Marvel Cinematic Universe, How to Train Your Dragon, Leverage, Disney, ect. If you have a request for something in one of those areas, please PM me! I am pretty pleased with most of the things that I have written, but I do have some personal favorites. So, if you'll humor my shameless self-promotion, here are a few of my suggestions: How to Train Your Dragon: "You and I" (chapter 4 of Dragons and Daydreams) - Stoick and Valka's reunion in HtTYD 2 "Silences" (chapter 6 of Dragons and Daydreams) - Astrid's view of the destruction after HtTYD 2 Leverage: "Bunny" (ch. 9 of Hitter, Hacker, Grifter, Thief, (Mastermind)) - The history behind Parker's stuffed rabbit Unread Marvel Cinematic Universe: "Late Nights" (ch. 15 of StevePeggy's 20 Questions) - Answer to prompt "Who stays up late and reads, and who falls asleep with their head in the other's lap?"
