Hello. My name's Laira, I'm a fifteen year old American who loves to write stories. I am currently learning UK English, and I'd love to brush up on my skills with their kind of English. So, you may see some of my stories written in that form. On the other note, I do have a habit of writing in American English, so forgive me if I do so. I am here, personally, to read and write because those are my hobbies - as well as editing.

I use Sony Vegas Pro 11 to edit, and as you can see, I've used it to make my icon - featuring Lady, my persona. I chose her, because she has brown eyes and I have brown eyes. And, we sort of have the same speech pattern. But to be completely honest, my favorite movie is The Lion King. Nobody can resist that one. And oh, gosh, there's so much to that one.a

I used to edit, but I don't do so now and I don't know if I will continue in the future. Now, I will introduce you to my FAQ tab. Please do read in order to understand/get to know me.

"Do you use shortcuts such as 'Lol', 'Brb', 'Thnx', 'Ilu'"?

Uhm, No. I find it quite lazy, perhaps a bit..y'know, informal. But I do tend to use "Y'know" sometimes, because it's just kind of express my accent/speech/tone of voice. I don't use "u" either. The letter "u" is a letter, it doesn't significantly mean "you". There are two different things here. And whilst I'm on this topic, let me just say I don't use letters in that order, either. I don't say "I'll write this 4 u". I prefer to write it out fully. I only use "chu" in a playful tone. But I prefer to be formal and not lazy...

"What do you think of people who call movies Childish?"

I think that's absolutely ridiculous. You should at least be grateful people have decided to make a movie for you. People spend years making movies, planning out characters and such. So, even if it is for children, you should still respect it. I am not asking you to like it, I'm just saying it's unfair that illustrators/directors/actors etc. spend years of their life to create something for people's enjoyment, and people criticize it. If that was you, I'm sure you'd feel embarrassed, ashamed and quite angry. Of course it's alright to dislike the movie it and critique it if you must/can, but some use weak excuses. I have my points on the movie, but I don't go too far about it.

"Who is/are your favorite character(s) and why?"

Lady. First of all, she is a graceful and beautiful sweetheart, who has a kind heart and gives people a chance when it comes to trusting them. Even when Tramp had like, over 1O girlfriends, she still allowed him to become her mate, sire her puppies and live with her. I think she really is a kind little one. And as everyone calls her, cute.

Kiara. I don't understand why people hate her so much. She is an energetic, graceful and friendly character, who seems more "realistic". What I mean by that is that she does have faults in her life like we all do (and every other TLK character). She has a friendly heart, she is genuinely happy all the time, she doesn't like people for their looks, she forgives and she united the two prides even after the pain they had caused her family. I think she's really brave.

Vitani. Vitani has quite a unique design. She is the only on-movie character with head tuft, or in the TLK kingdom (other than Tama). She is a brave warrior, and I'm glad she recognized her mother's mistake and joined the Pridelanders, even after her mother practically threatened to kill her. That was also really brave.

"Do you believe Kovu was Scar's son?"

Obviously not! I mean, come on! Disney was trying to avoid incest, as they mentioned before. Yes, it was said in the scripts that Kovu was meant to be Scar's son, but that's a deleted script and no longer available for use. I don't know why people use the script as an excuse. It was a deleted idea, and the idea was replaced with a new one. Kovu even says twice in the movie that he wasn't his father. And in one of the deleted scenes, too. (I know it's deleted, but still, it mentions in the movie.)

"Is Nala Mufasa/Scar's daughter?"

Simba was a headstrong lion. Do you think he'd mate and have cubs with his sister/cousin? Like I said before, Disney was trying to avoid incest. This would happen in the real world, but this is a kids's film! Would they really include that nonsense?
