Hi Internet. I'm Beastie, a humble writer of science and dystopian fiction. I've enjoyed fanfiction since my early teens, and have grown to admire it as an amazing resource to better my own writing by learning for the hugely varied styles of the infinite others that populate the internet. I have a number of longterm original projects in the pipeline, but losing creative steam has been a far reaching problem for me. Since variety is the spice of life, I'm going to try and keep the gears from gumming up by trying to produce some serviceable submissions to this lovely site.

I'm afraid I'm not a terribly exciting lady, just your basic twenty-something introverted casual gaming IT geek/bookworm. I love video games with a great story, like the Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Fallout series. I have a penchant to get very excited about older cultish TV shows, like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Xena: Warrior Princess. I have what borders on a compulsion to read; the only book I have ever failed to finish is Twilight, which I became so disgusted with that I had to stop around page 80. I am a great lover of cinema, particularly of emotionally heavy movies with complex cinematography usually classified by my fiancee as, "weird art house-y stuff."

I'm really quite shy; I find it difficult to share my work even with the anonymity provided by this venue. I would love to hear your thoughts on my work, if you have the time to spare them. I try to become a better writer every day, and would greatly appreciate any insights you might have on improving my skills.

I have a few fanfiction projects on the table right now. I'm happy to say I've manage to complete a few short ones, which I hope you'll enjoy. Anything already up on the site will be finished, come hell or high water, but inspiration and real-life challenges will undoubtedly effect the rate at which this happens. I will be sure to update the story or profile with any information about unexpected delays, and I appreciate your patience with me in the meanwhile.

I sometimes come up with little blurbs of stories that just aren't quite long enough to merit publishing here, which I will start to post on my tumblr account, if you feel like reading a little more.

I would like to offer a general disclaimer, should I forget to note it in my work. Any works of fanfiction I produce are merely for my own entertainment; the characters and universes belong to their creators and writers, and I make no monetary profit from anything posted to this site.
