Hello, darlings. Allow me to apologize first and foremost if I fail to follow the established cultural norms upheld by fanfiction writers. This marks the beginning of my expedition into the realm of fanfiction. I have prepared my Navigational Charts, set my compass to the Second Star on the Left, and set out for the Far Green Country. With any luck, the rum will not run out and the ghosts of the deep will leave me and my borrowed crew be.

My main project for the past two years has been an extended work of fanfiction called "1 Year In". Basically, I have taken characters from a wide variety of television shows and placed them in a post-apocalyptic United States.

Here's the current tally of fandoms involved:

Firefly, Heroes, Once Upon A Time, Doctor Who, House, M.D., Twin Peaks, Arrow, Dexter, White Collar, Psych, Sherlock, The Vampire Diaries, Person of Interest, The Office, How I Met Your Mother, and LOST

Yeah. It's a big project and I'm fairly proud of it. If you haven't seen any of the shows listed above, don't let it intimidate you out of giving it a try. I explain everything you need to know as the story goes. It's been fun imagining how the different characters would interact when confronting each other. A few examples: Dexter Morgan and Shawn Spencer working a missing person's case together, Oliver Queen and Emma Swan on the run from the police, and River Song, Dr. House, and Sylar teaming up against Samuel Sullivan, who has abducted the Doctor and stolen his TARDIS. Needless to say, it's kept me busy.
