Welcome to my profile! As you can see, my name, or username actually, is Optimisticat and I think that you can infer what it means. I love cats, love being optimistic, and I love writing.

For those of you who don't mind reading through my profile, thank you for taking the time to do so, and I hope that you don't get lost! It shouldn't take too long to read, I don't think. Have fun!

Name: Eh...I won't give you my real name, but you can call me Kat for a nickname.

Age: Older than 16, younger than 20.

Hobbies: Writing, drawing/sketching, reading, listening to music... I play the piano. I also enjoy working on my current FanFictions and writing down and adding to ideas that come to my mind. I love to spend time with my family and friends as well.

Characters: Dick Grayson, aka Nightwing. He is my FAVORITE superhero ever. I absolutely adore Timothy McGee (NCIS), Jamie (BlueBloods), Sam (Flashpoint), Logan (Big Time Rush), Edmund and Lucy (The Chronicles of Narnia), Donatello (TMNT), and Legolas (Lord of the Rings).

Superhero: Richard Dick Grayson, aka Nightwing. He is simply the Best, in my opinion. I also love Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, from the Avengers.

Role Model: Ellen DeGeneres. She is my biggest inspiration in life!!! Such a positive woman, such an encourager!!! Truly, she is a unique, marvelous, and wonderful person! :)

Place in the world: Paris, France. C'est vraiment bonne et belle! J'adore la Paris! I also like the beach, in both Southern California and Florida. (The white sand and warm temperature of the water there is wonderful. Great place; great scenery. Very peaceful).

In Regards to my Story Writing

What I don't write: I do not write Slash, as I think it's called, between two male characters or two female characters. (Though I don't mind reading it!) I just can't write it, because I fail when I try to do so. I try not to write curse words (or colorful metaphors, as I like to call them) in any of my stories. If I do so, then it is a part of who the character is, not a part of my personality. I do not write detailed romantic scenes either, if you get the drift. Come to think of it, I don't write romance at all. It's nothing against the romance genre, it's just that I generally don't read or write romance. I couldn't, even if I tried.

What I do write: I love to write FanFic's that revolve around the friendships and bonds between main characters. I like to write about the characters' pasts and their time in the present as well. Oh, and I have an endless supply of AU's that I only wish I had the time to write about!!! Basically, I write about anything that comes to mind, or anything that I can actually envision happening. My brain likes to get carried away with ideas, and fantasize whenever it can. And I seem to have many plot bunnies running everywhere in my head. If you manage to find one of them just let me know...
