"So spill, dude," Stiles said, "what's the big mystery? Why would the alpha be possibly interested in little old moi? Lowly human that I am." Stiles had somehow recovered his speech and his propensity for sarcasm. Derek wouldn't look at him and kept staring at the floor, not saying anything. "Come on, Derek, I haven't got all day," Stiles demanded.

It became a sort of ritual for Stiles. Every day after school he would make up some sort of excuse to his friends so that he could sneak off to Derek's apartment and catch up on some sleep. He still didn't sleep well or rather hardly at all in his own bed so the few hours he actually did sleep in Derek's bed did wonders for his physical and mental wellbeing.

And then Jace had come into their lives. At first, everything had been great between them, they had become best friends, brothers, parabatais. However, over time his feelings for Jace had changed, turned into something deeper, into something forbidden.
