No, Alex is not what I go by in real life, but considering my name, I could go by it. Because of that, I do not really consider Alex a pen name. Basically, I'm a ship whore and will probably end up writing fics for couples that aren't my OTPs, but I still love. I'm not going to name my OTPs because I find that people often judge from the first impression of an OTP, but I'm sure that at some point you will be able to tell of which couples I am most fond.
