A writer of mostly original works (although I have written some fan fiction, I always seem to lose interest in it quite soon). Usually I have about five projects at the same time - usually I finish only half of them.

An enthusiastic reader of everything and anything. Nevertheless, even though I will read anything, I am not pleased easily. I judge only the best 5% of what I read to be great, and only 20% to be good. I judge stories first and foremost by characters, pacing and plot. Grammar issues, convoluted sentences and bad writing annoy me to no end, but I can read around them and supply my own narration if the story is gripping, the plot has no holes (that I can think of) and the characters are developed. If one (or more) of them is missing, the prose needs to be good as well to keep me reading.

English is not my first language, but I have used it actively since I was five years old. I read a lot in English, more than in my first language (Finnish). So I am quite good with it.
