![]() Author has written 6 stories for Grey's Anatomy, 100, Originals, and NCIS: New Orleans. Hey there-- My first attempt at fanfic was a few years ago. I liked the onscreen chemistry of Arizona and Lauren and I really wanted to write their story. It's not that I think cheating is a good idea, I just felt like, in their case, the lure to the insight a stranger might offer could be very profound. As far as on screen characters go, I'm not really into the pairing of Arizona and Callie. To me they always seemed a bit off - out of balance. But, Lauren brought something else entirely to the table. I liked it. I know I'm in the minority here, but its okay, I don't need convincing otherwise. I got enough hate mail from stans wishing me dead for writing their story. Literally. Anyway, I'm back now with Wanheda. My neighbor loves the show and convinced me to tune in. I'm glad she did. It's a bit violent for my taste, so I seem to be paying attention to Clarke and Lexa mostly, though Abby would be a great character to write about sometime. I'd like to explore the anger Clarke has for her in a fit at a later date. I like some of the politics of The 100 as well. I live in the states now (traded in the "Aw Shucks" for the "Oh Yeah, You Betcha") and the politics and statements around justice and firearms interest me. I am not sure if I'll stay with this for an entire season, but I've enjoyed what I've written so far (I'm typing this February 21st and just loaded Chapter 9) and it feels like some of the complexity can be fleshed out in fanfic, so we will see. Lexa and Clarke and so many of the other women on the show have incredible substance. Well, cheers and thanks for reading. Askait |
