The Amazing Race Pokémon: (Last updated: 12/09/2015)

The Amazing Race, in case you don't know, is a reality show wherein teams (usually 11) race around the world for a million dollars. In my version, I made 12 teams race, because for me, the more the merrier, which will also explain why I have those in the 1st 2 seasons' 1st legs. (If you know what I mean.) I was planning to have this race, especially on the 1st season, to have the locations all Pokémon locations. I realized later on that I will get bored with such an idea, so I made them go to the Mario Worlds, and along the way, I have to use my places to let teams travel to more diverse locations and do more diverse tasks.

I have finished 2 seasons so far. The 1st season was the beginning of my writing hobby, so don't expect Season 1 to be the best of my works. I have made improvements for Season 2, and some more improvements for Season 3.

Toadstool Academy:

Toadstool Academy! I have an original idea for a gameshow. It has a lot of contestants, but I plan to group them too. This gameshow is about 49 contestants completing challenges to avoid getting eliminated. For contestants who did the best for a challenge, they will receive safe points and will less likely be eliminated. As for contestants who perform the worst in a challenge, they will receive nomination points, as in nomination for elimination. Elimination comes in 2 kinds: contestants vote-offs or "public" votes. They will be eliminated until 4 remain. This fanfic serves as my "sideline" or break from TARP, which is very wordy and since I can't get a new update out soon.

This gameshow was inspired after a time in class. There was a group work, and I think our group did the worst. I then told myself that: "If this were a gameshow, we would've been eliminated." Thus came the idea. :D

(Oh, and I don't think I ever mentioned this, but the reason behind the points being different for each biological sex and age is to encourage people to submit more male tributes and younger tributes, especially since back in 2016 I've seen most stories being flooded with older kids than younger ones and females usually get filled up faster than males.)

Arena Map (04/19/2018): I FINISHED DRAWING THE ARENA MAP!!! :D I started doing that ever since I started the story, so... 2016. I won't release it until we get to the bloodbath. I have more motivation to get to the bloodbath as soon as I can, with this map I wanna share badly!

Hi! I'm Platrium, as my profile username says. I can go by Platrium, Platinum, or Plat. I'm an introverted guy (he/his/him) from the Philippines taking up computer science in the undergraduate degree. I'm interested in art, design, geography, video games, origami, linguistics, and more. That's not in particular order btw. I might have missed something too. My favorite color is orange, like the sunset most of the time. My MBTI personality type is INTJ. If I were an animal, I'd most likely be a flying fox, because my head is often in the clouds and people say I can be as clever as a fox. Some people are surprised by my presence sometimes, so I think I am a ninja in a way. Online, I probably babble a lot in text. Offline or irl, you'd likely be surprised by my silence.

I seem to like game shows or competitions, or games in general, whether it'd be board games, card games, video games, and more. I don't play a lot though. I'm more of a viewer when it comes to games, but I'm interested in learning how to make games. If you have noticed, the stories I write all involve some sort of competition, because that's what I'm into - games.

My top 3 fandoms in no particular order are Pokémon, Mario Kart, and The Amazing Race. Other fandoms I have include Undertale, Kirby, Stranger Things, The Hunger Games, Super Mario (in general and not just Mario Kart), Rick & Morty, and more. Sometimes I have difficulty balancing my time per fandom, but it's all cool. Hopefully I can make my own some day.

You may notice some details in the portfolio:

~Highlighted in cream are those not yet introduced or revealed in the story.

~The placements and fate columns may seem blank, but some of them are filled. It is in white font in case you don't wanna be spoiled. Just look at the formula bar if you're curious about my tributes' placements.
~If you wanna check out statistics regarding gender, age, district, etc., you can sort the spreadsheet in any way you like.

Sometimes, I receive messages from SYOT authors asking me to submit to their stories. There was a time it happened 4 times in the span of 30 days.

For that reason, I might as well state my preferences:

~I like younger tributes. I submitted, submit, and will submit a lot of 12-year-olds. Sometimes 13 or 14 works too. I'm for age diversity!
~I like District 3. I'm a computer science student myself. If you're desperate for a tech tribute that's not lame and boring, send me a PM now. ;) I have the reputation of forcing authors to close down D3 slots I've submitted to. Works best if I'm late to a story.
~I like District 5. It's the richest non-career district in canon, so I can go as wild as I can with the backstories I usually make. Nothing against poorer districts though.
~I like District 6, simply because I think it's cool. No, more like a lot of D6 characters I've read in various SYOT stories were cool, so I turned to like it eventually. At the same time, there's a lot I can do with transportation. Morphling is overrated. :P
~I like characters with Pokémon references. Any character references coming from my interests works too.
~I like characters with a video game background. I have a really deep interest in video games even though I suck as a player. XP
~I like inspirational characters, that includes characters with a little tragic backstory and how it was overcome, or a young kid doing great things, or a disabled character not being hindered by a disability, or simply a feminist. It could even be a combination!
~I like making dark characters lately. This can be a character with an antagonistic story or a tragic one. Examples are rape, homophobia, child abduction, trauma, cannibalism, and more. Proceed with caution if requesting for this character type, as trigger warnings will be necessary.
~I can make characters other than tributes, such as escorts and others. Mentioning this because not everyone does. The only thing I don't make are characters for history AU fics. I have no ideas for those, and it's too dark for my tastes. XD
~2-tribute limit: I can have 1 or 2 tributes per SYOT, but never 3 or more. I don't wanna hog the story I'm submitting to.
~3-character limit: If I can submit a mentor, escort, or some significant extra, I prefer a maximum of 3 characters, tributes included.
~There's a Requests tab in the portfolio. I have tributes submitted in the past, but those stories are more likely dead than not. I also have ideas I'm motivated to write out soon.
~For special requests, feel free to send me a PM. :3

Meanwhile, I am also into character creation collaboration. Usually, I've been the one sending messages to fellow character creators, but you can send me a PM too. We can have fun making paired tributes, or we can share our ideas to make one tribute. For more information, you may proceed to the portion of the portfolio titled "Let's collaborate!"
