Hi, I'm Jade!

First, a little bit about me - I'm an eight-year veteran paramedic and Reserve combat medic for the US Army, so I draw a lot on my own experience as inspiration for my writing. Pretty much everything I write about I've either done, seen, worked on, heard first-hand from my fellow medics (both civilian side and military) and first responders (FD and PD) who I work with. I also work CA-RAZY hours and have a baby girl and am a full-time pre-med student, so even though I have whole story plots and chapters and characters all organized and dying to be written, finding the time is the challenge. So if you read my stuff (and if you do, THANK YOU!!!!), my apologies ahead of time if updates aren't the speediest...

On here, I only write CSI: NY fic, weeeelll... (update as of April 2013) I've now also found myself writing Broadchurch/Alec Hardy ficlets, and started to dabble in DW land, the Tenth Doctor specifically ;) and Mac Taylor is my man! Although Alec Hardy and Ten/Tentoo are damn close 2nds!
