Eight years after Ganon was defeated a new threat arises in the north. To protect those he loves, Enon, a prince of Ordon, steals the Master Sword and embarks to face this evil. To do so, he must face the darkness within him, cast into the Other, a place where Ganon has slain the Hero and the world has fallen to shadow.

Hyrule and Ordon must unite against the encroaching shadow. Link has been prepared for this battle since childhood, the Champion of Ordona and Master of the Sword. Reluctantly allying with the Queen of Hyrule, they prepare to confront the encroaching Shadow. Betrayal, mortal and divine, threatens to tip the balance. Ganon rises and the world has lost its Hero.
