This story fills in some of the gaps between the scenes from The Walking Dead, as if they were deleted scenes like you'd find on a DVD. It focuses mainly, though not exclusively, on Carol & Daryl because they're my favorites. I'm following the path of the show, just with extra emphasis on the Caryl relationship.

As the new leader of Hilltop Carol makes a deal with Rick that will bring some of her old friends and family to the community for short periods of time - including Daryl. She knows she hurt him badly, but still, he asks her if there's a place for him in her new life. Carol must decide if there is.

The story takes place right after the S6 mid-season finale. The group is dealing with the outcome of the herd back at Alexandria while Daryl, Sasha and Abe are still on the road. A lot of Caryl and Richonne scenes along the way.

Daryl never returned to the prison with Merle. Instead they became a part of a new kind of group. Lawless men. Carol never met up with Tyreese after Rick banished her. Instead she was leading a new kind of group. Women with a Vendetta. When these groups collide, Daryl has trouble coming to terms with what she is and Carol will have to remember that she was once a merciful woman.

Merle was minutes away from doing the unthinkable, but before he was able to put the saw to use, someone spoke from the shadows. He didn't know it at the time but that was the very moment his life would take a drastic turn. There are three things he needs to accomplish. Get the woman to the group. Make sure his brother is okay. And make Officer Friendly pay. Easier said than done.

Takes place a few days after S6E8. Daryl has returned to the ASZ and found Carol still unconscious. Alexandria has been cleared of walkers and the group is rebuilding after their loses. Not sure how many chapters there will be. May or may not follow actual events in the comic, depends on how it flows. This is Caryl, so if you aren't into that sort of thing, kindly move along.

A slow burn Caryl fic. The story of their friendship. Daryl and Carol discover themselves through relating to each other in a post-apocalyptic world.

Devolution. When you are the only two left standing, how quickly will your humanity slip away? After losing Alexandria, and their entire group, can Daryl and Carol really cling to the shreds of sanity and humanity they have left? Or will they realize that the animals inside are too strong to ignore? And if those animals are allowed to feed, will the world be the same?

A series of vignettes that takes place after the events of Grady that showcase the progression of Daryl and Carol's relationship told from Carol's perspective. (If not a fan of romantic Caryl, you may want to avoid).

The biggest what if? Daryl and Merle left the quarry before Rick came back from the dead. Later down the road, Daryl has joined the Marauders. See how his and Carol's paths cross again. TW for abuse and mature themes including allusion to non con

This story starts after the midseason finale (season 5). The group has to cope with the death of Beth. They also need to consider where to go now. Carol and Daryl are my favorites and therefore they are the main protagonists. This is going to be a Caryl fic :-) Just let me know, what you think and if I should continue. Carol and Daryl have found each other again after Terminus. But can Carol handle having Daryl back in her life and will Daryl be able to handle the secrets Carol is keeping? Season 5 with a twist. Rated T for now.

Immediate aftermath of Season 5 Episode 8: Coda. Definite Caryl, but with healthy respect for Beth.

What if there was a way to prevent the events that brought the group to the prison? What if there was a way to save every single person they have lost along the way? What if second chances at the end of the world actually existed? Will they be strong enough to save the others? This story has given me many sleepless nights but I think it has been worth it.

The progression of Daryl and Carol's relationship through the seasons through their various "first" times.

Sequel to Phantom Hearts but written to stand alone as well. The group must continue on and Daryl and Carol have more responsibilities in this world gone mad. Whole (most?) group involvement. OCs as supporting characters. Will they survive and make this a life worth living? Caryl, Carol, Daryl Dixon

After shit hit the fan and the brothers found themselves at the quarry they still managed to lose their older brother. Unsure whether he's dead or alive they soldier on. The grounding force for each other they crash head first through the world that is left around them. Starts during season 1. Going to follow the time frame loosely with a new twist on the story.

The Story about two people finding themselves and each other in a world gone wrong. Takes place during the S4 Mid-Season Finale. CARYL fic

This story starts off immediately after Carol is banished from the prison. Daryl searches for her and will be helping her to deal with what she has done. This is a Caryl story and there will be emotions flying as they stop hiding their feelings from one another. This is a love story. I can promise that Daryl will step up to be Carol's defender and she will open up her heart to him.

Picks up after Season 2 and looks at the relationship between Daryl and Carol as the group struggles to make a life in the world of the undead. It's an eventual Caryl fic. I'm really bad at summaries...please don't judge me. Daryl, Carol, Caryl Whole group participation should be expected. My OC, Alice, is in this one as well. M for violence, sexual content, language

During a walker apocalypse there are few happy times and even fewer people to look to. However, Daryl and Carol seemed to have found themselves with both things. They look to each other for comfort, trust, and loyalty. Maybe even something a bit more than friendship could spark, however. Caryl/Darol Rating T for Dixon-tongue. Please enjoy and review. The world is over. His brother is gone. His options are slim. And then out of the fog appears something he doesn't even recognize. He doesn't see it at first for what it really is. Hope.
