It has been nearly two years since Holly left for San Francisco, Gail is now a detective and her life has regained some normalcy even if her parents no longer speak to her. A chance meeting at a conference throws everything into chaos. There is crime to deal with too.

A different Gail, a different Holly, a different story. I guess strictly speaking this should be considered AU. Starts after the events of season 4. Rated M just to be sure..

Holly has been in San Francisco for three years but the job she left Gail and Toronto for hasn't turned out quite how she hoped. Tempted by an attractive job offer from a private firm, Holly is warned off by someone from her past, leaving her with what seems like a million questions about what exactly happened to Gail Peck after she left her in Toronto.

Sophie is home for the winter holidays after completing her very first semester at McGill University in Montréal. She is pre-med and wants to become a Forensic Pathologist, and Gail couldn't be more proud of her! She also has a new hero, someone who she doesn't realize is also in Gail's past.

Based on the events after 5X3... Gail struggles to find her way back to Holly before it is too late, or has she missed her chance? Ten months have passed since the interrogation room kiss and Gail chose not to pursue a relationship with Holly, a decision she has lived to regret ever since. (Rated M from Ch.7 onwards)

The events of this story occur after the finale and will continue. A major part draws from the fact that Gail quite clearly refuted the expression "bone each other" as inaccurate where her relationship with holly was concerned. For me it sounded something like "not yet slept together". The lighthearted angsty anatomy of their romance. Rating will definitely go up in future. Enjoy!

So here's another one-shot. What would happen if Gail went to San Francisco to get Holly back? These are my musings. Romance, angst, emotion... all the usual things you would expect from me :)

Set sometime in Season 6, Holly comes back and seeks out Gail and well, a conversation ensues and emotions are involved. In my opinion these two belong together and I'd like something like this to happen. Romance/fluff/bit of angst *sigh* Golly forever. One-shot.
