After a zombie epidemic, Lock (an unusual introspective zombie and former detective), encounters John Watson, an army doctor and human surviour and rescues him during a zombie attack. Written as one of John's blogs, the story begins with what seems to be a chance encounter between an injured Sherlock and a woman, but it is a tale which was at least 45 years in the making.

Mycroft is being a good big brother by arranging a pardon for Sherlock's killing of Charles Augustus Magnussen. But there's a condition: Sherlock has to meet the Queen for the pardon to take effect. Can he behave himself with royalty? Or will he become too absorbed in stopping a new tide of illegal drugs from swamping London to bother? Post TAB.

Spoiler Alert: This fic takes place AFTER the events in The Abominable Bride with the premise that TAB was a vivid glimpse not only into Modern Sherlock's Mind Palace, but revealed his personal thoughts and feelings about John, Mary, Mycroft, Lestrade, and of course Moriarty. Post return, pre So3, Sherlock and those he cares for are challenged to put into words what they think about each other. Revelations and misunderstandings result in equal measure, with some resolutions, too.

Despite Sherlock's blindness increasing more severely, he still goes to crime scenes with the faithful doctor, so all appears fine but isn't. This is going to be a series of one-shots that explore moments in the relationship as it develops over the years. (One Shot) John waited days for Mycroft to do something, to save Sherlock, and when the oldest Holmes declared his power, his contacts just weren't enough, John decided it was his turn. There are a few favors he's owed and one just might help him get what he wants... (Begins at the tarmac) HLV Fix-It - Can be seen as Gen or Pre-Slash.

"The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven." (John Milton: Paradise Lost) The aftermath of HLV leaves the Holmes family at the edge of despair. Sherlock under arrest and Mycroft slowly falling apart there is only one person left to save Sherlock Holmes: Mary Watson. And so a plot is set into motion to bring back an old enemy.

Just a bit of fluff wherein Sherlock and John discuss the aspects of a certain fiction genre with which we are intimately familiar. No disrespect intended. I am, after all, both a fan and a contributor to said genre.

Would it matter to them?

Sherlock knew he was different. His broken soulmark set him apart. But finding the soulmate that could change things for the better was not easy in a world where social norms and prejudice ruled. AU with soulmates along the seasons of Sherlock with slight changes. Sorry, summary is not good.
