Hi all I'm Nova. I live in Australia. I've been reading fanfiction for a couple of years now, but I'm only filling this in because I've decided to take a crack at writing my own story. This is my first attempt at any sort of creative writing, but I hope you'll give me a chance anyway. My favourite fandoms are Harry Potter and Mass Effect, but I've read quite a few stories from other fandoms including Pokemon, Star Wars and Final Fantasy. In terms of my story taste, I'm very much the hopeless romantic type. I want to see the characters happy. Which is not to say I won't read any dark fics, just that I'm always going to prefer a happy ending (No pun intended). I'll happily read a story with pretty much any ship. I've found fantastic stories that ship Harry with Ginny, Hermione, Susan, Hannah, Parvati, Fleur, Gabrielle, Daphne, Tracey, Cho and basically anyone you care to mention. That said, I've never been a fan of the Harry/Tonks ship, the age gap just doesn't gel with me. Which seems hypocritical when Harry/Gabrielle is one of my favourite ships, but there's usually some story justification for that. Just a personal quirk I guess. On the Mass Effect side of things I'm very much a Tali shipper. Sorry, can't help it. I also draw the line with slash. Not a fan, never have been, never will be. If that's your thing, good on you.
