Felt moved to write the story I did. Took a bit over a year to do so, though I periodically read it over to tweak something or correct an error. Found the process of writing this long thing gave me insight into completing an original work that is in progress. This story first appeared on the site HarryPotterFanFiction until it ceased operating on April 28, 2018. Some of the spellings/dialogue used in the work attempt to capture a formality that might be seen more among certain populations. If you know anyone who was reading it but never finished, let them know I found another outlet. There might be as many as 100 people out there who never finished owing to the way HPFF had a number of maintenance issues before it shut down for good.

I found writing this work useful as I currently am trying to recover from a long bout with Lyme Disease and have as yet been unable to return to a productive life (by education, I taught history).
