Growing Up Haddock Story 6: After a trip to a foreign tribe, a deadly disease begins spreading around Berk at an alarming rate and it's up to Hiccup and Adrianna to find the cure before people start dying. Meanwhile, Astrid remains home to act as chief but soon falls victim to the disease, leaving Finn a lot more responsibility. Only HTTYD and R/DoB are canon.

A what if take on HTTYD2. What if Hiccup had met Valka earlier on in the film, shortly after fleeing Eret and his band of Dragon Trappers? What if Hiccup was hurt, and Astrid was desperate to save his life? Maybe she would just have to trust this dragon lady...really, what other choice did she have?

And with that, Hiccup was the main reason Astrid got distracted during training, went more frequently than normal to the forge and felt more emotions than the socially accepted for Vikings.

It hadn't seemed to have happened gradually. But suddenly, Astrid realizes that Hiccup is taller than her. How will she react? Hiccstrid oneshot.
