Stardate 54999: Following Voyager's return to the Alpha Quadrant, Chakotay and Seven spend a winter evening on Earth. C/7. Follows "Endgame." Updated to split story into chapters; no substantial changes.

Chakotay insists that Seven of Nine needs a little recreation, but does she agree? Set at the end of the episode 'Human Errors' in season 7 of Voyager.

Chakotay encounters Seven of Nine leading the young Borg children around the ship for their first lesson. The conversation they have next surprises them both. Set after the episode 'Collective' which aired in season 6 of Voyager AU.

C/7. Set in AU#1 established in fanfiction story "Alternatives." Picks up at the end of that story and explores the past and developing relationship between Chakotay and Seven of Nine and life aboard the Val Jean.

When did Chakotay change his mind about trusting Seven of Nine? Perhaps when Janeway pointed out some striking parallels between Seven's capture by the Borg, and Chakotay's capture by the Kazon. (Drabble, with portions of J-C friendship and hints of C/7. Also fills in a few other small plot-holes.)

In answer to scifiromance's challenge what if Benjamin Sisko met Seven of Nine during the battle of Wolf 359. Their lives crashing down around them the Emissary and the Scorpion must become a family and fight the dangers that lurk in the Delta Quadrant.

With the Captain spiralling into a tunnel of dark depression as they travel through the empty void in space, Chakotay has been left to deal with the fallout of the situation on his own, only to find unexpected solace in the one crewmember who seems to be maintaining her sanity through the boredom and strain... Post-Equinox. Voyager is a mess and her crew is in a worse than the ship. The Doctor and Seven have always been able to fix each other but this time they might be broken beyond repair. Chakotay wonders if he's out of his depth, trying to fix them. Pre-C7.

This story is based around the episode called VIRTUOSO which aired in season 6 of Voyager. The Doctor's singing talent catches the notice of the Qomar, but is somebody else aboard Voyager hiding their own talent, Chakotay is about to find out... Set in AU.
