It was bad enough that Merlin woke up in a field out of town missing months' worth of his memories, but it was worse coming back to find his best friend couldn't stand him anymore and no one knew why. Reconciling with Arthur would be easier if things were simple, but things in his life rarely are. Regaining his memories only makes things more difficult - and more dangerous.

Merlin and Arthur travel to Mercia and on their way they meet Gwaine. Of course it's snowing and almost dark outside so they decide to stay with Gwaine in a tavern. A few drinks and a stupid bet later, Merlin accidentally reveals his magic to Arthur. Can they ever be friends again? And what's worse - will Arthur take Merlin back to Camelot or will he leave him in Mercia? - Merthur

So obviously the series finale broke all our hearts. This is my way of fixing it. Cannon compliant/divergent. King Arthur asks Merlin if he should accept magic in Camelot, and Merlin said no. That was the moment that sealed Arthur's fate, and after hundreds of years of searching, Merlin found a way back to that moment so he could change things for the better. No Slash

What happens when Arthur returns and Merlin must once again assume the role of protector. Set after the end of Season 5.

Arthur wakes up to find a de-aged Merlin in his room with no memories of Camelot. The knights all offer to help, but they can't understand why Merlin seems so scared of 'the knights in the red capes', and why he keeps pleading with them not to burn him. As Merlin slowly gains his memories back, the knights find out more and more about their friend's secret life.

Blaine ends up learning a whole new side to Sebastian thanks to an unlikely source, his brother Cooper. And in the process starts seeing lots of things in a different way. Hopefully this sort of gets the point across. It starts Klaine but will move to Seblaine. Rate M for future chapters. Angst/Friendship/Drama/Romance
