Because There Weren't Enough of These... (BTWET for short)

Shylah: The first OC to appear. I ended up making her a bit more dynamic in personality than the others because she wasn't as thought-out to begin with. She's the fourth-oldest of the eight, and the third tallest at 5'6" (167.64 cm). She has strawberry blonde hair, dark blue eyes, and wears glasses. As the most intelligent of the group (as far as book-smarts go), one would incorrectly assume her to be the responsible one. Yeah, uh, no. She's also the most prone to escapism, making her the least likely of the group to actually want to go home.

Caitlin: The second OC. More temperamental than Shylah, but less so than Tish or Mischa. One of the more athletic OCs. She's also the seventh oldest, and fifth in height at 5'4" (162.56 cm). Short, bright orange hair, grey eyes, and freckles. Has reading glasses but doesn't like to wear them. She's kind of sisterly to all of them, but is especially protective of Tracey. She's also pretty light-hearted and teasing, more so than some of the others. Oh, and she's surprisingly innocent for all that she's been around in her lifetime.

Tisha (Tish): The third OC. Volatile in temperament and personality, with more of a tough-girl persona because of psychological reasons. The second oldest and second tallest at 5'8" (172.72 cm). Her hair was permanently dyed a dark purple and her eyes changed to a bright hazel (almost yellow) because of prank wars. She has the kind of confidence that could easily be considered an act, because it usually is. She also has a soft spot for orphans, and is, I think, the only one of the eight who has actually killed a man. Rather than be proud, she's ashamed of that. Whether or not that changes, time will tell. She also uses her hair to cover the scars on her face and neck.

Tiamat: The fourth OC. The calmest of the group, but also the bossiest with a slightly entitled aura. The eldest of the eight, but the sixth tallest at 5'2" (157.48 cm). Her hair was permanently dyed white and her eyes changed to blood red because of different prank wars (bystander casualties). Having grown up in an extremely wealthy home, she has been taught both a strong work-ethic and how to manage money. She's occasionally referred to as 'Princess' or 'Queen' by some of her friends, less because of her fragility and more because she seems to enjoy ordering them around.

Tracey: The fifth OC. Not necessarily hyperactive, but definitely antsy. Also extremely athletic. The fifth oldest, and also the tallest at 5'9" (175.26 cm, tall for a girl in the Naruto-verse). She has short brown hair and light green eyes. The daughter of an unknown, famous American and a Spanish immigrant far too young to have been left in charge of Tracey and her older brother Manolo, she grew up raised by Manny and watching her mom caught in an endless cycle of bad boyfriends, alcoholism, and drug addictions. She prefers to remain positive, and considers it to be her responsibility to keep everyone laughing. Kind of like Pinkie Pie.

Emi: The sixth OC. She has extreme social anxiety, so she's not going to be very talkative when around much more than one or two people. The fourth oldest, and seventh tallest at 5'1" (154.94 cm). She has black hair and dark brown eyes. She and her father moved to America when she was very young. She developed her stutter while learning English because her peers had a tendency to tease her for her odd pronunciation. A victim of bullying, she also has low self-esteem and slight agoraphobia. Tracey has made Emi her personal 'happiness project'.

Reia: The seventh OC. She's the responsible one of the group, with motherly tendencies that get on Shylah's nerves. She's the fifth oldest, but also the shortest of all of them at exactly 5'0" (152.4 cm). She has dark brown (easily mistaken for black) hair and naturally purple eyes, because she's special. I guess. She was the first to know all of the others, and played a large hand in getting them all together. When she was little, she was moved from state to state to stay with relatives while her parents explored the world, until finally her parents home schooled her and took her with them.

Mischa: The final OC. She's Shylah's little sister, and extremely temperamental and confrontational. She's also the baby of the group, although she is the fourth tallest at 5'5" (165.1 cm). Her hair is a lighter blonde than her sister's, her eyes are lighter (compare sky to ocean), and she also wears glasses. Despite her temperament, she's one of the most forgiving of my OCs once she's calmed down, and also one of the easiest to hurt. She considers herself to be artistic (and she is), although she knows better than to join in on Sasori and Deidara's arguments.

This is a story about God. Read if you believe in him, and read even if you don't.

A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 percent of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 percent of the people that read this won’t repost it?

I'm back, BABY! So... I'm taking down all my stories, 'cause let's face it, none of those are getting done! Hehe... The only one I actually feel bad about deleting is my Girl vs. Mary Sue story set after the events of the Inheritance Cycle. So I'm a child of Hades, Athena, and Hermes. How does that even work? Do I just choose one? Should I be concerned, or should my friends be concerned, 'cause that three-way combo sounds like a terror to deal with.

Considering that I'm writing a story for the Naru-verse, I should probably have my favorite Naruto characters listed here.

1.) The Akatsuki (Their pasts and personalities are intriguing, especially when you add in a bit of psychological profiling to help you out.)

2.) Madara (same reason as the Akatsuki), Gaara (same reason as Akatsuki, again), and Naruto (most adorable loudmouth I've come across)

3.) Hinata (I relate, and she's just so freakin' cute! :3) and Temari (One of few in Naruto's generation portrayed as a strong, independent female)

4.) Lee (his enthusiasm and determination is adorable in the way a small child would be) and TenTen (she gets far too little screen time)

5.) Rin (probably one of few objects of affection in Naruto who actually deserves said affection) and Kakashi (he's not too terrible)

My preferred genres.

Personally, my favorite genres always center around either a Medieval setting, Fantasy, or both. I don't think I've read a book in those genres where I've been disappointed.

I actually don't like romance, which is weird considering that my current FanFiction work is a romance. Almost all of the romance books I've read hold too little substance as far as development (of both plot and characters) and setting (plot devices, pasts, locations) go. Really, I've read better FanFiction romances than books that have sold for over ten U.S. dollars.

As someone who is currently writing romance, I can understand the urge to ignore all sense and get right into the part where they confess their love and fly a dragon into the sunset. That's actually why I'm writing it - to prove to myself that it can be done.
