Time to Fly

I stare at the setting sun, wishing i could fly.
I watch as darkness defeats light, I am nothing bt a spectator.
I hear animals going to sleep, and others just rising.
I lie down, wondering where time went.
I close my eyes, knowing this battle is over, and
I fly.

Tears
The Koala stars into the river, imagining it as it once was.
A tear trickles down its furry cheek.
It sees the river, mighting and strong, not weakly tricking, and the tear drops with a small splash into the not so mighting river.
The koala's river is mighty.

Six animals and one human
A kangaroos hops and jumps
a hawk flies
a koala climbs,
a tiger hunts,
a fish swims
a bird sings

So, what does a human do?

Still your mind
Look at new horizons within
Ponder why you are here
Let the journey begin!

Look to this day,

In it's brief course
lie all the realities and verities of existence,

for yesterday is but a dream and tomorrow only a vision
but this day, well lived,
makes every yesterday a dream of happiness
and every tomorrow a vision of hope
so, therefore, look to this day!

The mind is like a mirror;
All things arise and pass away.
There is nothing to hold on to,
Whatever comes, let it come,
Whatever goes, let it go.
