May 2, 2015 While I realize that Selena (LP) is by definition a 'Mary-Sue' I'm not going to change her at this point. Just chalk it up to me being a newbie at writing and fanfic. Besides wouldn't we all want to be a Mary-Sue at one point in our lives? For all of you who have stuck with me - thank you & hugs! (unless you're touch-averse, in which case here's a smile). May 4, 2015 Please note that how I’ve written a character is a build-up of a characteristic(s) that I saw in them. Actually I love playing and tweaking them into someone different yet still vaguely recognizable from Canon. Eg. Ron – while I truly do detest his canon character (don’t hate me!) I still made him likeable in my story 'Together' and gave him a happy ending. He’s fun to write because he is so versatile. Hey, it’s all in good fun and I will place a warning in the story summary. I did make certain adjustments to fit my own story. Sept 7, 2015 I am so very sorry I've not updated since June. Sigh...what can I say? Summer was stressful with a few fun days and I've started working again - shift work, which means 8 hours working plus before and after prep time anywhere from five to six days a week. So I'm just plain exhausted, stressed and my feet are sore because I'm standing all the time except for my lunch break. Not that I'm complaining because work = money to buy food and pay bills. Also certain scenes were not coming together like I wanted so I've deleted and edited until the story flowed again. Anyway, I hope you all had a great summer and you and your loved ones were safe from the forest fires. |
